Wenger reveals how he wants to end his Arsenal ‘love story’

Arsene Wenger is not concerned about Arsenal’s troubles away from home as his side aim to beat Atletico Madrid and reach the Europa League final, while he wants to end his Gunners “love story” on a high.

Arsenal have only won seven times on the road in all competitions this season and are yet to take a point on their travels in the Premier League in 2018.

But four of those victories have come in Europe, including a 2-0 triumph against AC Milan at San Siro in March.

On concerns over his side’s away form this year, Wenger said at a press conference: “In the Premier League yes, in Europe no.

“In Europe I think we have done well away from home and we neglected a bit the Premier League away from home recently.”

Wenger announced recently that he will leave the club at the end of the current campaign and he is determined to end his reign on a high note.

“I don’t know what I will do next season,” Wenger added.

“At the moment I like to finish well my job, a man has to give his best as long as he is somewhere.

“I would like to walk out and think I focus only on Arsenal. I want to finish this love story well.”
