Arsene Wenger was pleased to report a clean bill of health ahead of Arsenal’s Europa League quarter-final first leg clash with CSKA Moscow on Thursday.

Goalkeeper Petr Cech and striker Danny Welbeck both trained on Wednesday but are doubts for the match.

The Arsenal boss said: “We have basically everybody available, I think.”

Wenger also confirmed that striker Alexandre Lacazette is back in contention and added: “Lacazette is ready to start, yes. I have not decided will he start but he is available and ready to start.”

On the match itself, Wenger has demanded a good performance from his players. He said: “When you play at home in the first leg you don’t know what you have to achieve.

“You are a bit more in a situation where you have to defend well and attack well.

“We play against a team who has done well in Europe so we certainly need a top class performance.”
