Arsene Wenger says he’d rather not “talk about the second or third goals” after Arsenal lost 3-1 to relegation-threatened Swansea City in the Premier League on Tuesday.

The Gunners took the lead through Nacho Monreal but were immediately pegged back by Swansea through a goal from Sam Clucas, before a Jordan Ayew strike and another effort from Clucas sealed the points in the second period.

“I felt defensively we were very poor and made big mistakes,” said Wenger. “It’s better not to talk about the second or third goals.

“Swansea were sharp, disciplined and hungry. Unfortunately I believe we were not good enough, I believe we were not disciplined enough.

“I don’t want to talk about second or third goals.”

On the possibility of Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang moving to the Emirates Stadium: “We will know more about that tomorrow morning.”

When asked if Olivier Giroud had played his last game for Arsenal, Wenger replied: “It’s a possibility.”
