Wolves, Aston Villa join race to sign €20m Bundesliga attacker

Wolves and Aston Villa have reportedly joined the race to sign Werder Bremen winger Milot Rashica in the upcoming transfer window.

The 24-year-old attacker has established himself as a top Bundesliga performer over recent seasons, and has previously been linked with Liverpool.

That has led to several clubs in Germany showing an interest, including Borussia Dortmund. The Bundesliga giants continue to worry over Jadon Sancho’s future.

But now German magazine Kicker claims that Wolves and Villa are also considering signing him.

Wolves view Rashica as a player who would help develop their squad further, with another European campaign on the horizon.

Villa’s interest, meanwhile, very much depends on whether they can avoid relegation on Sunday.

The report adds that neither side have firmed up their interest as yet. Indeed, the only club currently in talks with Bremen for Rashica at the moment is RB Leipzig.

Bremen are holding out for a fee of €20m for a player who scored eight goals and registered seven assists in the Bundesliga this season.
