Wolves hit obstacle despite agreeing £16m deal for Man City starlet
Oleksandr Zinchenko has revealed his desire to stay at Manchester City this summer despite his club accepting a bid from Wolves.
According to the Daily Mirror, City have accepted a £16million bid for Zinchenko from Premier League new-boys Wolves, with Fulham also interested.
The English champions signed the Ukranian starlet back in 2016, and he has spent time on loan at Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.
However, Zinchenko has made it clear that he has no plans to leave the Etihad Stadium.
“To be honest, I think Manchester City is one of the best teams in the world right now,” the 21-year-old said.
“Everyone dreams of playing here, and that goes for me as well. I try to learn every single day and I’m going to fight here.
“I’m ready for everything because I have to be professional. You don’t know what can happen in the future, but I’m dreaming of staying here.
“Everyone wants to be part of this team.”
