Wolves prepare £36m bid for AC Milan midfield star

Wolves are set to smash their record signing fee for 21-year-old central midfielder Franck Kessié for a reported £36 million from AC Milan.

Wolves recently broke their record transfer fee for Adama Traore from Middlesbrough for £18 million on a five year deal.

On 2 June 2017, Kessie joined fellow Serie A side Milan on a two-year loan deal with the obligation to buy from Atalanta.

The midfielder featured for the Rossoneri 37 times last season including appearances in the Europa League and scored five goals.

It’s not the first time this summer Wolves have been linked with an AC Milan star, last week The Wanderers were linked with making a move for Andre Silva.

Kessie was praised last season by boss Gennaro Gattuso who said to SportMediaSet  ‘Kessie is far better than I ever was’.

Wolves will have to work fast to get the deal done as the final 24 hours of the transfer window approaches.
