Wolves are set to further show their ambition in the transfer market by making a move for Real Madrid sensation Martin Odegaard, according to reports.
The Molineux club have been big spenders over the past few years, bringing in high-profile names such as Raul Jimenez, Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho – with their approach helping them secure Europa League football after their first season back in the top flight.
The 20-year-old, who joined Madrid as a teenager four years ago, spent consecutive years on loan in Holland – with Heerenveen and Vitesse respectively – before staying in La Liga over the summer by signing up with Sociedad.
In his short time with the Basque club so far, he has shown much promise, scoring twice in six games. And according to the Mirror‘s sources, that form could prompt Madrid to cash in on the starlet, with the price tag set at roughly £20m – a figure that would represent a profit of over £15m for the Bernabeu club.
