Wolves sign Villa winger

The 19-year-old, who moved to Molineux on loan in November, has agreed an 18-month contract with the Championship club after failing to make a single appearance for Villa.

A thigh injury prevented Graham competing for a senior spot under Kenny Jackett during his loan spell and he will start life at Wolves as an U21 player.

But recent first-team chances for Dominic Iorfa and Kortney Hause encouraged Graham, who told the club website: “It’s time for a new challenge, and that is to try and get to the first team set-up at Wolves.

“Even in the five losses the team had (in November and December) the gaffer brought in Dom and then Kortney. That shows that even in hard times, he’s got trust in the younger players which is great for us to see.

“I can’t thank Villa enough for what they have done for me. I have been there since I was eight – a good 11 or 12 years – and they have made me the player I am today.

“There are no hard feelings from me at all, it was just time to move on and try and play some more first team football. For whatever reason it didn’t look like it was going to happen there.”

Sky Tickets are giving you the chance to watch Wolves live at Molineux in the Sky Bet Championship. Tickets are half price for their game with Blackpool on January 17 – only £14.50 for adults – and can also be purchased for Charlton’s visit on January 24.
