Zlatan’s ‘win it all’ attitude is ‘very annoying’, says Herrera

Ander Herrera says Zlatan Ibrahimovic “is a genius”, but admitted his Manchester United team-mate’s will to win can be “very annoying”.

Ibrahimovic has scored 26 goals since arriving from PSG on a free transfer last summer, but he has yet to pledge his future to the club next season.

MLS club LA Galaxy, who held talks with the striker before he signed for United last summer, are believed to be ready to make the 35-year-old the country’s highest paid player ever.

Ibrahimovic is believed to be chasing a two-year deal at Old Trafford with the club only keen on a 12-month extension and Herrera and his team-mates will be hoping a resolution can be found.

Herrera told Marca: “He is a genius. He can say that he will score 30 goals and that he is the best because he can get away with it.

“He is so good that he can do that.”

Herrera though, who has scored once in 38 appearances this season, admitted the Swede’s desire to win, even in training can be frustrating

“Ibrahimovic can be very annoying because he wants to win it all, even at football tennis,” he added.
