Euro Paper Talk: Fabio Paratici in talks over smart Nicolo Zaniolo deal as Tottenham also eye swap deal for towering Serb; Leeds offered chance to sign speedy striker

Tottenham are looking to strike an extraordinary deal for Nicolo Zaniolo and are also hopeful of signing a Fiorentina star, Leeds are considering their next move having been offered an explosive striker, while Monday’s Euro Paper Talk claims Sevilla and Man Utd are set for talks over a player.

NICOLO ZANIOLO HOPES GROW FOR TOTTENHAM

Tottenham are growing increasingly hopeful they can seal the signing of Nicolo Zaniolo amid claims Roma are willing to sell.

Jose Mourinho’s side have already added Paulo Dybala to his attack this summer, and wants Andrea Belotti next. And with Tammy Abraham and Lorenzo Pellegrini at his disposal, Zaniolo could be the odd man out.

Roma rate Zaniolo highly, with a fee of £50m previously proving prohibitive.

However, as per Foot Mercato, Spurs director Fabio Paractici is in talks over a potential loan.

The wily Tottenham chief is in charge of transfer negotiations at Spurs and is known to be a smart operator. And the French outlet claims he is set to strike gold over a deal for Zaniolo, which will replicate the club’s Dejan Kulusevski signing.

The Sweden winger joined in January on an initial loan with Tottenham sweetening the deal with a staggered permanent deal scheme.

Now they look set to repeat the trick with Zaniolo, per the source.

They state the Italy star will likely sign for Spurs on an initial loan, giving Tottenham the option to make the move permanent next summer.

Spurs will reportedly pay just £8.3m (€10m) now, with a further £34m (€40m) due next summer.

That arrangement gives Spurs the option to assess how Nicolo Zaniolo fits in. It will also give Antonio Conte the chance to land his No 1 summer target.

Tottenham also looking to Nikola Milenkovic swap deal

That might not be the final Tottenham Hotspur raid on Serie A this summer either, if reports are accurate.

Indeed, Spurs are reportedly one of three clubs firmly in the mix to sign Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic.

The Serb stands at an imposing 6ft 5in and is one of Italian football’s toughest defenders.

As per La Nazione, Milenkovic will decide which of his suitors to sign for.

The likes of Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan are also considering moves.

Spurs are looking into Roma's Nicolo Zaniolo as he could be available this summer.

However, it is Tottenham who seemingly lead the chase, with Fiorentina reportedly keen on Giovani Lo Celso.

As such, the report claims La Viola are open to a possible swap deal. Spurs would need a cash adjustment too, though that seemingly wouldn’t be much with the Argentina midfielder rated at around £18m.

Fiorentina are reportedly targeting Ajax defender Perr Schuurs as Milenkovic’s replacement.
