Tottenham outmuscle Man Utd to offer strongest Prem push for £21m Brazilian star signing

Tottenham are the most likely Premier League side to sign Torino defender Gleison Bremer amid Manchester United interest, a report has claimed.
The 24-year-old moved to Italy from his native Brazil in 2018 and has impressed. He had to be content with a bench role for most of his debut season, but his stock has risen significantly since then.
In fact, Bremer recently reached a century of games for Torino. What’s more, he has captained the side on eight occasions this season.
Spurs, Chelsea, Newcastle, Man Utd and Manchester City all subsequently showed interest ahead of the January transfer window. Furthermore, Bayern Munich supposedly held talks over a deal for Bremer.
The defender signed a new contract in February until 2024, following a promise from Torino president Urbano Cairo.
Nevertheless, interest in Bremer from the Premier League’s top clubs has not gone away. TuttoJuve claims that Tottenham’s interest is the strongest out of all the interest from the English top flight.
Spurs are therefore considering convincing Bremer to leave Torino by making a ‘good proposal’.
But the report adds that Manchester United remain in the hunt for Bremer.

What’s more, Juventus, AC Milan and Inter are all showing interest in a raid for the centre-back.
Bremer has played 24 games for Torino this season, helping the Serie A side to five clean sheets. He has also chipped in with two goals and one assist.
Despite signing a new deal, another report from Tuttosport has claimed that the player can still leave.
Indeed, the report claims that the new contract was part of a gentleman’s agreement between Torino and Bremer. The club did not want to lose their star defender for free in 2023.
In addition, Torino will let Bremer leave if they receive a €25million (£21million) offer.
Bremer could be solid Tottenham signing
Spurs added two new faces to their ranks in January, both from Juventus and Serie A.
Dejan Kulusevski has already formed an exciting understanding with Harry Kane and Son Heung-min up front. Meanwhile, Rodrigo Bentancur has joined the midfield.
Centre-back Cristian Romero was another capture from Serie A last summer.
The Argentine joined on an initial loan deal from Atalanta, but Tottenham boss Antonio Conte has confirmed a permanent deal.
Conte and Spurs pundits have raved about the player’s performances.
As a result, Bremer could prove another impressive defensive signing from Serie A for the north London club.
