Harry Kane future twist as transfer oracle names significant new hope in Tottenham saga

Tottenham have renewed confidence in keeping Harry Kane beyond this summer with transfer expert Fabrizio Romano detailing a key mindshift over the striker’s future.
Kane, who has three years left on his Spurs contract, pushed hard to leave the club this summer in search of silverware. Ultimately, despite two failed bids from Manchester City, the England captain saw his transfer hopes crushed as Daniel Levy held firm.
That led to Kane confirming his intention to stay with the north London club, at least until this summer.
Kane tweeted: “It was incredible to see the reception from the Spurs fans on Sunday and to read some of the messages of support I’ve had in the last few weeks.
“I will be staying at Tottenham this summer and will be 100 per cent focused on helping the team achieve success.”
Back in September, we revealed that Kane was open to the idea of extending his contract at Spurs if some key clauses were included.
Since then, Spurs have parted company with then-boss Nuno Espirito Santo. The Portuguese coach serious underwhelmed with his style of play. However, the club are seemingly upwardly mobile again under his successor Antonio Conte.
Kane clearly enjoys playing under the Italian tactician, who not only plays attractive football but also is getting results too.
Striker loving life under Conte
Now hopes of extending his stay are growing with Romano tweeting that Kane is “more than happy under Conte”. He adds that “it is a completely different feeling to last June, although no formal decision has been made on his future yet”.
However, in renewed hope to Spurs, Romano adds: “New contract won’t be discussed now – but Spurs want him to stay. Champions League spot key for Kane’s future.”

Could Harry Kane leave Tottenham this summer
Harry Kane is again rumoured to want to leave Tottenham this summer as Napoli striker main target or replace Kane
As such, a top-four finish this season will seemingly convince Kane to extend his stay at Spurs.
They can move within a point of fourth-placed West Ham with a win over Southampton on Wednesday night. As it stands, they are four points adrift of David Moyes’ side, though tellingly, do have four matches in hand.
Manchester United and Arsenal are also embroiled in the fight for fourth, with the Supercomputer recently giving its thoughts on the race.
Conte wants to help Harry Kane become even better
Conte has called the 28-year-old “world class” but wants to take him to a new level.
“Surely when you have a player like Harry Kane, you have to try to involve him in your tactical idea of football,” Conte said.
“He’s an important player for us and he has to be a point of reference when we develop our football offensively.
“We’re trying to work with him in many aspects. I think every single player can improve until he decides to stop his career.
“We’re talking about a really good person who shows desire every day in training. He’s available for his team-mates and is always ready to speak about football, to improve and to see new tactical situations.
“I repeat: We’re talking about a world-class striker and I’m trying to help him to become also better and better. Me, my staff on the physical aspect are working – but not only with him, with all the team.
“To reduce the gap, it’s very important to improve every single player in many aspects.
“If this player is Kane we’re talking about a world-class striker, but it’s the same with (Dane) Scarlett. We have to improve every single player in this way to be more competitive as a team than before.”
