A report has made a big suggestion Harry Kane will be leaving Tottenham Hotspur in the near future, with his wife allegedly spotted house-hunting in Munich.

Kane could leave Tottenham this summer after entering the final 12 months of his contract. Tottenham chiefs are still trying to tie the striker down to fresh terms, but if he decides he does not want to continue in North London, then they will simply have to sell. Otherwise, they risk losing their best-ever goalscorer on a free transfer in summer 2024.

Kane has previously been tipped to sign for Tottenham’s Premier League rivals Manchester United. Indeed, it emerged that Erik ten Hag had decided on Kane as his ultimate centre-forward replacement for Wout Weghorst.

However, Spurs have priced Man Utd out of a move for the England skipper. As Spurs do not want to improve a direct English competitor, they told Man Utd to pay a whopping £100million. Given the fact Kane will soon be 30 years old, plus his contract situation, Man Utd have no intention of paying this.

Instead, it is far more likely Kane will represent Bayern Munich next season. The German champions have had bids worth around £60m and £70m rejected for him so far.

Bayern will not have to match that colossal £100m fee, as they are not one of Spurs’ close rivals, although they must still improve their offer to strike an agreement.

New Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou recently admitted he is ‘not relaxed’ about Kane’s future, while the player has reportedly rejected the offer of a new contract at Spurs.

According to German source Bild, as cited by talkSPORT, there has been a major breakthrough in Kane’s prospective transfer as his wife Katie Goodland, plus other members of his family, have been spotted in Munich.

Katie has been in the area ‘for the past few days’. She is rumoured to be looking at houses and potential schools for their children.

Bild’s report backs up previous claims which have suggested Kane is eager to make the transfer a reality. It will be a cultural change for him and his family, but Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel has reassured him the club will do all they can to help them settle in Germany.

Tuchel has remained a big fan of Kane ever since coming up against him while in charge of Chelsea. Tuchel views Kane as the perfect striker successor to Robert Lewandowski, who swapped Bayern for Barcelona in July last year.

Bayern attempted to replace Lewandowski last summer by capturing Sadio Mane in a £35m deal from Liverpool. But Mane’s debut season in Bavaria has not gone to plan and he is now close to heading to the Saudi Pro League in a lucrative transfer.

Meanwhile, Tottenham are in talks with a Ligue 1 club as they aim to beat Chelsea to a dazzling playmaker, according to a report.
