Nuno handed massive lift as Tottenham quartet set to face Newcastle

Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo looks set to have all four of the club’s South American internationals at his disposal for Sunday’s hotly-anticipated clash against Newcastle at St James’ Park.
Cristian Romero, Giovani Lo Celso, Emerson Royal and Davinson Sanchez are expected to be available for the trip to Tyneside, with Spurs aiming to seal back-to-back wins in the Premier League against the newly-minted Magpies.
After three successive defeats, Nuno’s men got back to winning ways against Aston Villa before the international break.
They are currently eighth in the Premier League table, but are only two points off fourth-placed Manchester United.
However, Sunday’s clash on Tyneside is expected to be a huge test, given the feel-good factor after Mike Ashley’s exit.
Steve Bruce’s men are currently 19th in the table. However, St James’ Park is set to be rocking after the Saudi-led takeover of the club was completed.
But one major piece of good news for Spurs is the availability of four of their top stars ahead of the game.
Argentina pair Romero and Lo Celso, Brazil full-back Royal and Colombia defender Sanchez will be privately flown back from international duty to play against Newcastle, despite having visited red-listed countries, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Inter could be forced to sell Spurs targets
Inter Milan could be forced to sell Spurs targets Lautaro Martinez and Milan Skriniar due to financial troubles, with more news on Dusan Vlahovic and Donny van de Beek.
They will all be in action for their respective nations on Thursday and in the early hours of Friday morning. However, the quartet will immediately return to England ahead of the weekend’s Premier League fixtures.
The report adds that the four players will then stay at Spurs Lodge. That is as part of the conditions to allow them to face Newcastle on Sunday.
However, they may have to travel to the game separately from their team-mates in order to fulfil COVID-19 safety regulations.

Tottenham star emerges on Newcastle radar
Meanwhile, Dele Alli features on Newcastle United’s list of potential targets following their big-money takeover, recent reports have suggested.
Newcastle’s ownership recently changed hands from the unpopular Mike Ashley to a Saudi-backed consortium. Now with huge financial power behind them, Newcastle are expected to show more ambition in the transfer market.
Amanda Staveley, one of the key figures in the consortium, has already said they will be in the market for world-class players. It is a long-term project, though, so they may have to settle for out-of-favour squad members of big clubs to bridge the gap.
While Newcastle already have the finances to tempt big players, their sporting project will take time. Currently in the relegation zone, they may struggle to attract top talent immediately in January.
But several players could view them as an opportunity to relaunch their careers. With that in mind, they have been linked with players who have fallen down the pecking orders at various clubs, such as Manchester United’s Donny van de Beek or Juventus’ Aaron Ramsey.
But another midfielder that has emerged onto their radar, as reported by Diario Sport, is Alli.
Alli has two goals and one assist across all competitions so far this season. But there have still been reports that Tottenham could cash in on him in 2022.
