Sources: Postecoglou on red alert as Wolves name price for Tottenham, Napoli target Max Kilman
Wolves have placed a £40m price tag on Napoli and Tottenham Hotspur target Max Kilman, TEAMtalk understands.
Napoli have seen a bid of £30m rejected by Wolves for the central defender as they seek a replacement for Bayern Munich-bound Kim min-Jae.
Wolves have already sold the likes of Reuben Neves, Nathan Collins and Conor Coady this summer as they look to balance their books to comply with FFP regulations.
The Molineux outfit are reluctant to lose Kilman as well this summer, but could still find themselves susceptible to an improved offer for the defender.
Wolves have placed the £40m price tag on Kilman in a bid to ward off Serie A champions Napoli. But, if they meet their valuation the Midlands club could have a big decision to make on his future.
Also, other reports suggest Tottenham hold an interest in the 26-year-old as Ange Postecoglou looks to bolster his defence.
Wolves have opened talks with Kilman over a new contract and they look to extend his stay beyond 2025, but if no new deal can be agreed Wolves could be forced to cash-in on the centre-back.
