Tottenham close to finalising out-of-window transfer with attacker to move ‘immediately’

A Tottenham attacker’s exit is ‘advanced’, with a report revealing who he’ll sign for, how long his contract will be and the size of his salary.
The English transfer window has long since passed, though Premier League sides can still sell players to clubs from countries whose windows remain open.
In lieu of the tragic earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria, the Turkish federation lodged a request to extend the Turkish winter window.
FIFA recently greenlit the request, with Turkish clubs now able to sign players up until March 5.
That has already sparked a slew of speculation over moves involving the likes of Galatasaray, Besiktas and Fenerbahce. The latter, per Turkish outlet Sabah, are ramping up a move to sign Tottenham’s Lucas Moura.
Their information is cited by all three of HITC, Goal and the Daily Express, with Fenerbahce stated to be close to ‘finalising’ a deal by the former.
Goal add talks over the move are ‘advanced’, while the Express claim Moura could move to Turkey ‘immediately’.
Why would Tottenham part ways?
The Brazilian, 30, has been in north London ever since arriving from PSG in 2018. He’s been an integral figure in the past, though his importance has notably diminished under Antonio Conte.
He’s currently no higher than sixth choice in the Italian’s forward line. Harry Kane, Son Heung-min, Dejan Kulusevski, Richarlison and Arnaut Danjuma are all in front.
Injuries have also disrupted his career this season with Moura limited to just nine Premier League outings this sterm – all from the bench.
What’s more, Spurs inserted an option to buy in Danjuma’s January loan arrival from Villarreal. Clearly, there’s zero chance Moura will be offered a surprise late contract extension by Tottenham.
Moura’s current deal expires in the summer, meaning Tottenham will lose the player for nothing at season’s end anyway. That explains why they’re seemingly willing to let the forward go prematurely.
The Express suggest Tottenham ‘may not receive a transfer fee’ if parting ways in the coming days.
Though as mentioned, they won’t recoup a fee come the summer anyway so it’s a simple case of weighing up whether he’s needed in the squad right now.

Lucas Moura transfer details revealed
The Brazilian is in line to sign a three-year deal if he puts pen to paper with Fenerbahce.
The Turkish giant currently trail Galatasaray in the Super Lig by nine points and they seemingly hope Moura’s arrival will spark a late-season surge. Fenerbahce do have a game in hand over their great rivals.
A weekly wage of £45,000-a-week is stated to be in the works if the move does go through.
Fenerbahce have also drawn links with Man Utd’s Mason Greenwood of late. A burst of firepower is the order of the day and Moura is reportedly the player they’re making a concrete move for.
