Tottenham completely veto crazy £7m offer paid over four instalments for big Pochettino signing

Tottenham have reportedly turned down a lowly offer of just €8million (£6.9m) for a playmaker who was signed for almost eight times that figure under Mauricio Pochettino.
New Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou is expected to oversee a number of incomings and outgoings this summer, with five new additions already made to his first-team squad.
Young Blackburn centre-back Ashley Phillips is expected to be the next new recruit, but there is also a strong focus on which players will quit the club for pastures new.
One such player is midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, who has completely failed to live up to the hype of signing back in 2019.
Tottenham paid an initial £55m to bring the France international to north London when Mauricio Pochettino was still the man at the helm.
However, after showing his best form during Jose Mourinho’s time in charge of the club, Ndombele has largely spent the last 18 months out on loan. Indeed, the 26-year-old was at Napoli last season as they cruised to the Serie A title.
There has been talk of Ndombele getting an opportunity to prove his worth under Postecoglou, although he was injured for the opening pre-season loss to West Ham in Perth.
And now a report from Turkey claims that the former Lyon man has ended up on the radar of both Galatasaray and Fenerbahce.
Indeed, Turkish journalist Ertan Suzgun claims that Galatasaray have taken further steps to sign the Spurs man.
Galatasaray make lowly Ndombele offer
He states that the Super Lig winners have made an ‘official offer’ of €8m for the Frenchman and want to pay this fee in four instalments. However, Tottenham have, unsurprisingly, ‘not accepted’ this proposal.
Daniel Levy is said to be holding out for €25m for Ndombele, who will also have to drop his salary down significantly if he does move to Turkey.
The attacking midfielder currently earns €4.7m net per year, a figure which makes it ‘difficult’ for the Istanbul clubs to sign him.
Tottenham are back in pre-season action on Sunday when they take on Leicester City in Bangkok, although it’s unclear whether Ndombele will be fit to take part.
