Tottenham pushing for explosive triple £110m deadline day raids as Fulham launch massive offer for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg
Tottenham have seen an opening offer for Bournemouth defender Lloyd Kelly rejected – with Ange Postecoglou still hopes to finalise the signing as well as a quality Chelsea star in a potential double £60m deadline day deal.
The Aussie boss has enjoyed a fine beginning to his tenure in north London with the club having taken seven points from their first three fixtures. That run of results includes impressive wins over both Manchester United and Bournemouth.
Now Spurs are hoping to pile more misery on the Cherries by raiding them for one of their top talents in Kelly. However, an opening offer worth £20m has been rejected by Andani Iraola’s side, who are uncertain whether to sell the former Bristol City man.
It is understood, however, that the player is keen to make the move and take that next step in his career if a resolution can be found. However, Iraola’s side will first need to sign a replacement, while they could yet demand Tottenham raise their bid before accepting an offer.
Capable of playing at both centre-half and at left-back, Kelly would be a perfect addition for Spurs on deadline day.
The club also hopes to add another midfielder to their ranks amid links to Conor Gallagher. The Chelsea man would cost a fee in excess of £40m if they can persuade the Blues to sell.
Postecoglou wants to add a goalscoring No 8 to his ranks, with Gallagher identified as his main target. The Aussie has experimented with both Oliver Skipp and Pape Sarr in that role so far, and while both have performed well and are trusted by Postecoglou, neither seem entirely suited to the role.

Tottenham could offload Hojbjerg to Fulham
To that end, a move for Gallagher would be seen as an ideal solution.
Tottenham’s priority on deadline day, however, remains the signing of Nottingham Forest forward Brennan Johnson. The Wales attacker will add another option to the Tottenham attack, with the player likely to cost in the region of £50m. Robbie Savage has had his say on the prospective deal here and explained why Spurs are signing an elite player.
To part finance a potential triple outlay that would set them back £110m, Spurs are ready to offload Denmark midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg on deadline day.
The 28-year-old was one of their most consistent performers last season but is not fancied by Postecoglou, who wants a more dynamic midfield. As a result, the former Southampton man has been made available for transfer this summer.
Atletico Madrid have been chasing his signature for much of the summer but have not been able to meet Tottenham’s asking price. Now Hojbjerg has emerged as a target for London neighbours Fulham on deadline day.
The Cottagers saw an opening offer worth £25m knocked back on Thursday.
However, Football Insider reports they have raised that offer to £30m on Friday with Spurs now likely to sell.
Marco Silva’s side are in the market for a new central midfielder and also have Manchester United’s Scott McTominay on their list of options. But Hojbjerg is their top target and his signing will allow Joao Palhinha to finalise a high-profile £50m move to Bayern Munich.
Bayern midfielder Ryan Gravberch, meanwhile, will move to Liverpool in a €40m deal on deadline day.
