Have to say I’m getting very worried about management’s lack of faith in the academy. We seem intent in buying ready made expensive older players, without going through all the names we lost highly thought of young players in recent times and still are now, I can’t see the likes of Gallagher, Vale and Co.getting much game time, I’m seriously worried because so many other big clubs are interested in our young players and they not going to hang around too long if they don’t get decent game time no matter how its painted.

Alonso and Hudson will follow this week, I’m not sure what the others like Kennedy and Batshuayi are doing?

We still have problems upfront, according to the stats we had 17 chances of which only 5 were on target. Also quite a few attempts at crosses were blocked, so our main problem is in the final third, I wonder if they going to go for another striker?. The squad is full already, some players intend to leave though. Difficult for Tuchel.

Moos most coaches have a preference for a tall centre half which makes sense for clearing all those dangerous crosses and maybe the keeper too. I doubt they worry about height for any other area.

Im quite happy for any player that prefers another club not to be signed on so I’m delighted Kounde is not coming. I have anyway a preference for home based players if they can do the job and there’s only one way to find out and that is to play them.

Moos, it’s only a friendly and could very well be they all still think they on a holiday, I also don’t want to single out individuals but where I do agree we have to get rid of Jorginho right away, his the central midfielder who sets the tone of the game and in his case its always a very dour and frustrating game he plays. I cannot understand why Tuchel still attempts to bolster this guy. At the very least bring him on when the team is winning and you need to slow the game down for the last 20 minutes or so. It’s a very important position basically the general of the team and except for a few games at the beginning of last season it’s never worked. Why don’t they sell this guy or is it because there’s very little demand for him. We need to get Declan Rice as soon as possible, make Hammers an offer they can’t refuse. Or someone similar to him. I’m very worried about the performances but I’m also hoping it’s only an eye blind till the season starts, only in 2 weeks time hey! 😴

If Azpliqueta leaves we will definitely need another centre half, the 3 young ones are way too error prone even allowing for their age. Is Miazga (not sure how you spell his name?) not good enough, surely he can do a better job than Sarr? He is an international as well. Why then do we keep players that are never going to break into the first team ? Amapuda is also a centre half so we have 6 to choose from assuming Azpliqueta leaves. If they not good enough why not sell them as they taking up squad space.

Werner for one will not accept being part of the bench, his in fact keen to move on from what I can read. The secret is to find a way to keep all the players reasonably happy as they all want to play or move on where they believe they would be playing every game, very difficult but reducing such a large squad would help. Batshuayi unfortunately feels like a big backward step even if he does manage a couple of goals. I rather keep Werner as bad as his been.

I seen that report as well the Aka deal is off cause City wanted too much for him. I’m okay with this too however there is not too many choices available probably why we want for him in the first place. What about lowering our sights a bit try to find one in lower clubs.

Never been a fan of Jorginho myself although at one time I had hope for him, feel his holding back more enterprising players, Gallagher is one youngster we must not even talk about selling or going on further loans, he needs to be integrated into the starting 11 from day one. Maybe Gilmour can go on loan as he just had a poor season for whatever reasons but it needs to be to at least a probable mid table club not one that’s going to be fighting for survival. I would also send Sarr on loan. I read they going to sell Colwill? I haven’t really seen much of him, he did not have a good game in the promotion playoffs but I think we should persevere with him for another season going by all accounts.

What about Ampuda? His had enough loan spells, old enough to be integrated or does Tuchel have reservations about him?, on Colwill it’s being reported he will be going on loan?

Man city selling quality players and replacing them with even more better quality players still looking solid and recovering the money spent on signing those players, that’s what I call serious business in football. Nathan Eke and especially Sterling are good qualities however I don’t see those players from city to Chelsea as an upgrade going by Chelsea high standards. I totally agree with that gentleman we only stabilizing the squad not improving it.

I would hate to see either Saurez or Ronaldo in a Chelsea team or even in a jersey. 2 Despicable narcissistic individuals. I don’t even think we need too many new signings, we have Sterling who has to compete with 6 other top players for a forward role, hope he pays off, probably 1 forward at least will leave. There’s have enough depth in central midfielders, we only need now 2 defenders and that should do it even if Alonso and Azpliquetea leave. There’s young players coming through. It’s just a case of doing the business on the field and that’s where management comes in.

Hope I’m wrong but another panic buy because we haven’t signed anyone with quality or can’t find anyone available. city have had their best two years out off sterling in the past. Runs down blind alleys, can’t control the ball, can’t cross it, final ball awful and in front of goal not great. But having said all that let’s hope he proves me wrong, a change can make a big difference.

I think these will be 2 good acquisitions if possible. I don’t like the idea of Aka coming back. Chelsea are in for Matthijs De Ligt, according to Gianluca Di Marzio, but they are currently a bit off in valuation with Juventus for the Dutch international.
They have also put themselves on the table for Milan Skriniar from Inter Milan as well, according to the same report.

Moos I think you saying the reason they want sell him is cause noone is willing to pay that much money for him and the club for now is not prepared to lose all that money, it is basically a no win situation for the club as his value is detororiating every day. So your guess is as good as mine what they eventually plan to do with not only him but others as well.
