according to Metro and I dont know if they are a reliable source Conte reportedly instructed the club to lower their asking price for the Belgian to around £50 million. Find it a bit strange that anyone meaning a new coach or manager would not want to at least give a player of Hazards quality a chance under him!

Loftus Cheek as the no. 10 was great as were most of the team, it would be interesting to see him play as a no. 10 against a decent EPL team

was never a penalty – the ball hit his arm while it was in a natural position, maybe the rules are not clear but you can never give a penalty for that-besides Leicerts had enough chances to seal the win even though they eventually did. So they wre the deserved winners

I feel nothing for him he wants to act like an idiot then he must bear the consequences however it is a problem for the team as we dont have decent strikers at the moment so he is inflicting pain on the team, club and supporters besides himself by behaving the way he does.

.Chelseaman I dont know if you read every reply but Mourinho is always pleading innocence when matters dont work out and to add to that he was responsible for players such as Lukuaku, De Bruyne, Mata, Schurlle, Bertrand and even before that Huth, Robin, and other talented players leaving-what I am trying to say is leaving everything to the manager to decide will sooner or later implode as one mans judgement is another mans downfall in this case the team, plus he want have time to assess which players are right for the team. Have a look at this spoof on Jose, hilarious as it is it also has a lot of truth to it.

I disagree to an extent here-the owner has ploughed millions if not at the very least a billion into the club and if he wants enterprising players then he is fully entitled to invest in these type of players but they all of course would have to agree on the players they want. If I was the owner I would want players of my choice but with the agreement of the coach or manager. Managers choices do not always work. Mourinho did not want or was prepared to dispense of players of the calibre of Lukaku, De Bruyne, Mata, Schurrle and more so that proves the Managers decisions are not always going to work in fact I would say most of the time.

Simeone is not a defensive coach like Mourinho, he plays according to the strength of the opposition, if you watch AM games they are always attacking against most of the teams unless they come up against superior teams such as Barca and Real than they have to play on the counter

Blue Lion- are you maybe talking about Saturdays game where Fabregas was so good? He had a terrible game last night and only Hazard was worse while Ivanovich was also liable for some bad moments, Rahman I though was our best performer while Courtious was also good and saved us a good few times, Cavani’s goal was a defensive blunder not his. Cahill and Azpliqueata also did well. There are far better reserves to bring on than Oscar whose only playing on his Brazilian name. for this game I would have played Matic as we were overrun in that central midfield area.

I actually though it was not a good performance last night, the first half we held our own but PSG were all over Chelsea in the 2nd half and its going to take massive injection of thought as on how to take the team forward again.

on the subject of Oscar I cannot believe how he has become a pale shadow of the player when he first arrived and yet his still so young, okay so he scored a hat trick against a very weak MK team but I have never really seen him perform against your better EPL teams-his been poor for 2 years now and yet he still gets regular game time, must be cause of those very occasional good performances he puts in against weak opposition.

we are bound to drop more points even though we perform better against top teams, the point here is that the likelyhood of qualifying for the Europa cup is extremely thin. This in turn complicates matters further as top quality players will not want to join a club thats not in Europe.

I remember someone saying that Klopp will have his work cut out to get much out of this lot, only way he will turn this team around is by going big time into the market

not sure how many people on here follow Tweeter but it is a very good barometer of the feelings of the majority of the fans, Chelsea have over 6.5 million followers on Twitter same as United and a little bit less than Arsenal, no other club in Britain has even half that amount, any way the latest trending on Tweeter is complete disapproval of the possible signing of RVP while the Pato signing was taken quite well.

Hiddink wants an old man in the team this time purely cause they speak the same language, you need to have guts and plan for the future as there is no chance of winning anything this season bar the FA cup. Next season is a season to achieve not to build, now is the time.

its exactly what I been fearing, all the best players will want to leave and no top player will want to come, it could become a total disaster for the club.
