18 months down the track and nothing has changed with N’dombele. Watching the guy at training he just can’t be bothered, performs like a lard arse and looks like Motivaion is what everyone else has except himself. His attitude says he thinks he is at least a couple of levels above everyone else and it’s beneath him to put in any effort. A shame that his wage packet isn’t reflective of performance and output. I really think this N’donkey is a lost cause for Spurs as he considers himself to be turning out for RM or Barcelona. Nothing /Nobody at THFC is going to be able to motivate this Bum to give more than 30% effort and i reckon he would be a liability on the field. I like almost everyone had high hoes for this twat, but after all his time at Spurs he hasn’t shown much as a footballer. No use flogging a dead horse just ban him from the club. He is a disgrace as a footballer and deserves to be ignored totally. My sympathy to his partner and (new) child having to depend on this Loser.

Hi Scoff, have to say the football world is in Lala land as far as player price tags and wages are concerned. Unfortunately football is at the mercy of the mercenaries and has been for a with with no abatement in sight. 200m Euro for 1 player? and only a year ago 100meuro for Pogba was extortion. Dare we think to mention the 1st 1 billion bucks for a player seems like fantasy but it’s more than likely realty. It’s mind boggling the dosh being moved around in the football world. My only hope/wish is that it (football) doesn’t go into a state of boredom for the fans and in turn into a recession in itself because of the inequalities between the haves and have nots. It must be depressing for the clubs from 7 down to find that every season 7 down is the best they can achieve, it surely must eventually impact on the fans. I can forsee a Europe super league in the near future as the next logical step for the money men who control the game and it will have a greater impact on the finances and rewards for the clubs that can get themselves onto that stage. The domestic leagues will then be fought out by the possible 5-7 and down clubs. maybe Danny Boy has polished his crystal ball and decided that a new stadium and facilities will go a long way to gaing entry in to the Elite. Anyway I’m enjoying the fortunes of our Spurs more especially since those imbeciles that use to post their negative crap on TT have gone…. Cheers mate …COYS

Hi Scoff mate, yes only too well. It prompted me to start a thread a few days ago with the heading “Enic Out”. Also asked whether Ganzo was still a footballer and whether Klop was “The Man”. Must say the old format for this site was one that created a much better and easier format to post and comment on. This format has obviously turned a lot of the original guys away and I agree some for the better. Progress” eh!!

Hi there Bloggy mate! Hope all is well with you and yours. Thought I should pop in and see what was going on. Good to see you still on board. The team has shown some promising results and some unfortunate ones also. The guy that they really need to get things clicking again is Eriksen. Sadly he’s been unable to get the “goal” monkey off his back and I think it’s affecting his overall performance. he more so than Jansen, needs to score in order to get the team firing again. With the return of Harry I reckon it may just be the catalyst for the team to move up a gear. Sissoko has been a bit of a disappointment, but I seem to recall that he had his best performances, on the left for NUFC and France. Jansen (given time) will be very good, he’s just trying a little too hard at the moment but once he gets into the groove i think we’ll have a real talent. I managed to take in the 2 preseason games in Oz, was a bit disappointed in the crowd numbers, but then again most of the 1st team were absent. Anyway like you I’m happy with the NLD result, considering the regulars that were missing. We are still up there in the hunt ans as ever I’m sure the Title will be ours along with the FA Cup an CL cup. Cheers mate hope to talk more often. COYS.

Hi Guys! hope all’s well in your camps. Looking forward to Jannsen signing for us. Watching the Euros, one guy who has stood out and I’d like to see in the Spurs ranks is Pjaca from Croatia. Of course Griezman is great but out of Spurs reach. Others of interest would be Mata, Depay and a third striker(maybe). Anyway I’m catching 2 games in OZ Versus Juve and Athletico. Anyone else heading out there?

CB…OC…Hey Bloggy boy! all good I hope. Is that you doing the positive score line thing or is it me in a trance unknowingly posting on here. Some of your predictions look strangely familiar to what I’d normally post. I’ll let you keep up the good work and will check in from time to time. Bummer about the Cups but the EPL will do just fine. Cheers mate from me downunder.

It could only happen to Spurs. THFC are fated to conjure up the most unlikely events that take place in the football world. Sure it doesn’t happen on a regular scale but it’s always done in a certain Spurs Style that cannot be replicated by any other club. So fingers crossed guys. “What am I saying”???? Of course we’ll win the treble!!! COYS

Definite penalty! no difference, if he was front on and the ball hit his chest and was then deflected away by his arm/elbow. Should’ve of taken the same action as Rose took with his (Sterlings) shot.

CB…..OC….. Hi mate long time off here for me, Hope all is well with you and yours. just can’t believe that you and the likes of Gus are still non believers. I’m sorry I’ve not participated in the prediction league for some time but I guess with the way the season has been going i would’ve been right up near the Top with my predictions anyway. At least you and Gus and co have a sporting chance with me out (lol). Anyway no doubt you’ll be quite chuffed at the moment probably feeling like I do all the time (grinning here). The MCFC match (just want to say) anyone disagreeing with the penalty decision need to see Spec savers. I’m 10,000 miles away and I saw it hit his elbow after hitting his back, if it was outside the box and awarded nobody would have argued with the decision. So In the box definite penalty. My infra rose red glasses are definitely accurate. Anyway COYS….

Hi Dillagaf mate, good to have you on board, I see that the media have Spurs all but signed Pato already. I saw him play against Spurs for AC milan and he looked dangerous. I question his suitability for the EPL although i think if he knucles down to MoPos system he may be worth a punt. Jamie Vardy (I’m not suggesting he should be targeted) but he is a very “Clever” striker, he knows how to finish and it doesn’t require smashing the ball all the time but deft flicks and touches when required. I liked Vardy when Leicester first got him and thought that he would be an excellent front man, Mahrez is another clever player at LCFC. It’s not often that these sorts of front players come up and they are usually viewed with the suspicion of “1 season wonders” but eventually one of the “big” clubs will buy and they’ll have the next Lineker or whomever up top for them. Just wouldn’t mind having a 21-22 year old version of Vardy at the moment. Breel Embolo may be worth a look.

We have been linked with at least 6 strikers, they all seem to have certain attributes but we really need one that is both lethal and is clever not a smash the leather off type. Also has to be an out and out striker we have enough striker come wingers. Not sure who fits “MY” bill but open to suggestions.

CB… OC.. Hi mate! missed the game V Anderlecht…..but here is my usual + prediction V Spam…. 3-1 Spurs. Nice to see a more Jovial Bloggy nowadays, obviously the unbeaten run has a small part to play. MoPo is a good fit for the squad and with a couple of January acquisitions and sales, The EPL title is in for a good push. Hope the Golf swing has a look of Sam Snead about now that you’re much less stressed about Spurs. Don’t want to set the pulse racing but I see another link to a stake/ takeover of THFC by some Yanks is in the media. Now, now mate 2 big breaths!!! is that a Claret you’re having? Cheers Bloggy

Hello! Hello! Hello…Bloggio! How are you mate, hope all is well in camp Blogg. Enjoying the season so far? 1 defeat and some unfortunate draws with a misfiring striker and a few new faces is not a bad return 10 games in. Can’t think of a match that Spurs haven’t dominated and I positive we’ll be up there and a good shout for the title. Hang on a mo mate, i’ll just top up my 1/2 full glass and swap my rose coloured glasses for my Specs. There that’s better, Oh yeah the FA Cup and EL is also coming home. Team has/is come together well and I don’t envy MoPo having to make the big calls on the starting 11. Squad looks strong balanced and very fit and I reckon some teams are in for a shellacking. I’m going for a Spurs 5- Villa 1 result. Anyway mate it’s nice to be talking to you and others again, it’s been a bit slow taking off on here but I reckon the old swords will be crossed again sooner rather than later by the still to come old brigade. Is that glass of yours half empty, and is that a Gibraltar Rose’ you’re drinking? Cheers mate!

Watched the 7 rounds of the PL so far and if the results are anything to go by then its going to be a crazy old season. Spurs with the best(=) defensive record and least losses says something strange is going on. Utd aren’t going to be top for long, all the other usual suspects are struggling and the early front runners are dropping off as well/ It looks like a lottery at the moment and as Spurs have a ticket in it and the confidence coming from the players. I reckon there’s a good chance Spurs will be in the top places at the finish. What is intriguing, is that the managers of CFC,MU L/pool and MCFC are all likely to be favourites for the Sack Race as are some of the strugglers. A few more upsets and it’s squeaky bum time for them. Here’s hoping the upsets continue for them.

Thanks to Mark, Lee, Wellsini for the heads up on file size herein lies the problem. Anyway looks like this small group of us Spurs men are the founding members of the new TT page. Will be interesting to see who else signs up and if it’ll be with a new monicker. Shouldn’t take too long to work out who’s, who though. I noted there was an abundance of guys on the old TT writing off Spurs chances this season with lots predicting 8th and lower. I know it’s early but Spurs are looking very cohesive at the moment. The defence, no longer has me squirming in my seat when under attack and every attack by Spurs looks likely to produce something. Have to say we haven’t been outplayed by any of the teams we’ve faced so far and with the injured still to come back and put pressure on the rest. I’m happy with what Poch is achieving so far and also his team selection although I suppose the likes of Wimmer and Clinton must be wondering what they have to do to get a start/game. Getting to grips with this TT format and I’ve no doubt the page will have the keyboard warriors back soon… Cheers guys “Peace” while we have it!
