We have 3 midfielders whose contract end next summer as things remain so I’d rather have 2 quality midfielders ahead of one possible world class player.
I’d sacrifice Bellingham to get 2 midfielders, 1 in this window and the other next summer.
Loan with a recall clause.
Well, a decent starting 11 for the CP
WTF, Jota having scan amid fears of recurrence of his hamstring injury he just recovered from. As per James Pearce
And how many minutes did each of them play? I am not expecting 90 minutes but 45 minutes from some of them.
Rob: £100 is a lot of money for the average Thai so at the very least we put up a decent line-up. I am not expecting Klopp to play our full strength 11.
Exactly, to appease fans who paid much more for a ticket than watching at Anfield. I’m not saying play the 1st team for an entire mins but 45 mins.
True, but at least give the senior players more playing time and the youngster 15 mins or so.
Of course it’s to make make money but at least be more reasonable with the pricing if this is the sort of line up being put up.
Little empathy there
Feel sorry for the Pool fans who paid good money to watch the match. Cheapest tickets cost more than £100.
Exactly Fulcrum, wouldn’t pay too much attention to the figures published. Nat Phillips on £66k.😂😂
Not the worse fixture with April going to be a big month where we face ManC, Arsenal and Spurs and CL QF if we are still in it
If the next 2 African players we bring in are anywhere as good as Mane and Salah, I gladly would deal with the so called problems that Mane and Salah have brought. Future AFCON will be played in June so no problem about disrupting our season. Also these so called problems are not caused by the players themselves, all about National pride among their fans, Senegalese think Mane is better and vice versa. Just a clue, didn’t Mane reject a celebration out of respect for his teammate?
Teck: But we can’t really compare ourselves with City. They can afford a mistake in the transfer market but we can’t.
Pulisic is injury prone. Frying pan into the fire.
Tomk: If you don’t like it, don’t read it.
Threeps: Wouldn’t be too bothered about VvD and Alisson. Both signed fresh terms last season with 2025 & 2027 the expiry date.
I wasn’t nervous before the start. I take that back. This is not good for the heart, should have come with a health risk warning
