@Jim1502 Fair play to your comments, and we need to see what is the problem in the midfield. You could have a midfielder like De Jong, maybe a lightweight, but you could have a strong player to protect him, so he could pass the ball in the spaces to the attack. We have to keep in mind, that the EPL is a strong physical competition and you need to adapt to it. Looking at the situation at Barca. Gavi and Perdi are used to Barca system, they are getting Kessie from AC Milan too, a powerhouse, but looking at what you said in the last message from Rice, he’s the perfect person for United, but without CL, we are not even close to getting a chance of signing him!

If ETH wasn’t at United, maybe De Jong is a mistake, now he knows the trainer and that would be a plus plus to have to adapt quickly.

We are already shooting down De Jong if he decides to move to United. That is typical for fans to say so. At Barca he NEVER plays in the correct position. He normally plays at Ajax and The Dutch team. ETH would def let him play in his favorite position to bring out the best of him. With the right players around him, he would dominate the midfield. Looking at the bigger picture, last season we had who on the midfield????

Everyone knows that this season is 100% Sh*t, but it is also a blessing that we are having that! United is finally pushing the reset button with Ten Hag, he’ll show everyone who is patient enough, what kind of manager he is. He needs time to prove his vision for upcoming success, which won’t come next season, so we should be happy to play in the Europa League. That gives Ten Hag the focus on the team without CL football. Concentrating on winning the Europa League, what would provide access to the CL next season. Meaning the pressure is off to NEED to finish in the Top 4!

Nowadays top players want CL football who comes to the EPL, but EPL is tougher than they think. Look at Saul at Chelsea, a great player at Atl.Madrid, he’s nothing for Chelsea. That allows New players to adapt to the EPL to play in the Europa League.
Next season is building up, the season after, we need to show what we are worth!

De jong would be a fit into the EPL. It is his third season at Barca, and honestly, he should be doing much better. People only looking at that, but the real reason is. At Ajax, under Ten Hag he was playing in the position that is suited for him. He got a lot of confidence to play amazingly. Looking at Barca, he’s playing out of position or sitting on the bench and when he finally gets a chance to play his position, the self-confidence isn’t there. Too many changes in position. I think that is happening with Bruno also. He’s not getting the ball how he should be in his first season. United is changing the lineup way too much. A team is built on self-confidence and when that is broken, they start playing badly, and when they want to fix it, they change the lineup again and again! Ten Hag def knows how to set up a team with confidence. Let’s hope De Jong is coming to United. Even rumors that De Ligt from Juve is coming!

@ Blacky- Your right mate, Super Scott McTominay is the best midfielder United has ever had. His attitude, his flying tackles without nowhere, and his passing are top-notch. De Jong will be struggling to get his place 😀 😀

Frenkie de Jong is almost curtain joining United in the summer. It is a good deal. He’s a great player, his work rate is fantastic, the vision is perfect and he could score goals. We should be lucky to get a player like him, because we didn’t qualify for the CL. Nowadays every player is demanding CL football and United should qualify for the CL every season. You could see how rotten we are, with spoiled players who only are playing for themselves and not for the club. Ten Hag will def change that attitude in each and every player!

@killyboye: That is exactly what United is needing. Not a kiss as a manager to keep everybody happy, even though United is quite rotten at the moment. ETH is brutally honest about how things are. If that was only a job interview, the players better watch out, maybe finally United is playing some football, and not playing like that they’re earning easy money to play sh*t in front of the fans!

The rumors in The Netherlands are, that ETH is getting rid of Ronaldo and Pogba to create more breathing room with the salaries. N1xer is completely right about players being at the club for a long time, but not doing the effort to do something to get into the team. Those players need to leave and give youth players the chance to show what they could do!

It is going to be interesting who will come to United. 2 players from Ajax are linked. Tiber and Antony. Both are great young players! Brazilians are not a good fit for United, only Antony is used now to the shitty weather in The Netherlands, so he’ll be fine!

I am happy that ETH is becoming the United new manager!! He’s ruthless with players, he wants that everyone is playing as a team, with no exceptions from NO ONE. If you don’t want to play the way you want him to play….Okay, there is the door. I will call up upcoming talent to take your place.

Nowadays at clubs with a new manager is, they need to perform straight away. That is impossible. First, the new manager needs to clean up the sh*t from the other manager or players who think money is more important than football and then put in his version of the game. That takes time and looking at United, he needs all the time he needs. United is quite rotten at the moment. The results won’t be there straight away, but when everything starts the click, it would be magic with football what United deserves!

Take away a month of salary and then look how we would be flying over the field!
This is a disgrace how they are playing football.

The problem with Poch is, when Real Madrid comes knocking, he would be tempted to jump to them. That leaves United back to where we’re now! ETH would be giving more time to settle down. Well, I truly hope so, and that United won’t make the same mistake that they did with Moyes. He never got a real chance to show what he could do. He’s laughing now. WHU is doing very well in the league! A note back to Poch. How was his English when he started with Southamton? He needed a translator next to him. It is about what he could show and give to the team. English you could speak very quickly, surely when you’re coming from The Netherland like ETH!!

It is crazy that the dressing room is split about the choice of who the new manager would be. They are using lots of money per week. They need to shut up and play football. Cause looking at how United is playing is unbelievably terrible. If the players know it better, quit playing football, and become a board member, then you could open your mouth!

Ten Hag would be a brilliant choice. He’s not afraid to lay down the law to the players. That is exactly what United is needing. Not a manager who only pleases players to play favorites.

Ten Hag or Pochettino ….. Knowing that I am Dutch, I 100% go to Ten Hag. It is an easy decision too. Knowing what he has been building Ajax without World knowing players. He’s making them BIG stars for the future. He promotes youth to the squad, which is very important for United. His record in The Netherlands and Europe is impressive. Maybe you don’t know, but he was the coach at the beginning of his career from the reserves of Bayern Munchen!! Now that has been said…Look at Pochettino, he has been proven in the EPL, but now the interesting part why Ten Hag is a much better choice. Pochettino has always Real Madrid of some other BIG club on his mind when they are calling for a new manager. Ten Hag is something that builds a team and stays there until he reaches that target!

@blacky – Ten Hag is been proven in the Dutch League and showed he’s up to the task in the CL. He’s giving youth players the chance. He isn’t afraid to bench players. He’s all about team football. I still know a video when he shouts at a player on the field, after the player showboat, he said….It is not a single player game, it teams game, try that one more time and you will be benched!! He would not be afraid to bench Maguire or CR7 when they play badly! He’ll be successful, but I think every manager nowadays needs time to adapt to a new league!! Ten Hag wants to play attacking football and tighten up the defense, look at the states in the last message, that is impressive. The best states in Europe!

A link how Ten HAg wants to play. It is in Dutch, however there are English subs too!

Didnt post for a long time….looking at how the team is playing is sad to watch. The players earning too much money and playing like spoiled babies. We need a trainer like Ten Hag. He takes no BS from no one. He’s ruthless against players, he brings the best out of them. He showed qualities at the League. 22 matches 69-5 and CL 6 matches 6 win 20-5. Almost reached the CL final 2 years ago due to a lucky injury-time goal from the Spurs. He’s a proven trainer and is ready for the next step! He would be a better choice for United, it’s what United wants and NOT what the players wants! United is United, cause United is not the players!!

Jm1502, I know Real Madrid is always making everything difficult, but when they are linked with a player from us, we need to play easy and fair. I do hope we sign Varane. I’ve always been a fan of Varane and would love to see him at United.

For VDB, yeah Ole doesn’t fancy him, only that isn’t fair to the player. Give him a fair chance. He’ll show United the passion that he loves football and surely would say his commitment to United is what Pogba never has shown!

United should sell Pogba and giving VDB a real chance to shine. No need for another midfielder, when someone is already at the club, who is eager to prove himself! Use some money from Pogba and put it by the deal for Varane and why is United taking so long to make the deal complete. Just give Real 50M and we have the defense partner that Maguire needed. The new Rio/Vidic. Varane is a pure winner and leader, that is what we need. So make it happen.

Real Madrid has an interest in Antony Matrial, that is perfect news. We want Varane, that would be a swap + cash, for a great deal! Lets make that happen.

United didn’t show up the last couple of matches. And everyone is slating Maguire almost the whole season, I do hope that we see how important he’s to United. He’s is huge miss, and that shows yesterday. The building up was terrible, No leadership in the back. Rashford was terrible, Diallo should replace his halfway in the second half. Only Ole leaves everything with subs soooooo late, that is frustrated to see. Some players who always step up didn’t show that yesterday, the team was poor, only a few were playing with everything they had.

It is time to ship out a few players!! We should do everything to buy Varane, we need to strengthen the back. Harry Kane is a seriously good option too. You could say he’s injured all the time, but he bangs in 23 goals and many assists as a striker.

Overall from the match yesterday, very disappointed, surely in DDG. With every penalty he was moving first, for players is that too easy to score and when he needs to take a penalty, there was no motivation or passion what so ever. Time for him to go!

Spurs want to have Ten Hag from Ajax, as their new manager. That is music in my ears. He def wants that VDB join him at Spurs, surely that Ole is favours Fred in the midfield. Meaning if United wants Harry, make them an offer with VDB as a swap deal to sweeten the deal. It could be a Win-Win situation!!
