Think Pogba can just fuck off now. Either commit to the club or fuck off. Always question marks every transfer window. Just disrupts the club. The man and his agent are a circus we can do without.

    We need a midfielder desperately.

Not sure why Pogba is allowed to make his own way down to London. Should be with the rest of the squad.

Arsenal have a good New Year’s Day record.

If Pogba plays I think we’ll win. Without him we have a championship level midfield even with Fred in good form. Could go either way.

    Still, I’ll go 2-1 Utd.

Really impressed with Grealish at Villa. Think he’d be a good 10 for us

I think McTominay will be a big loss for us. It means Pogba will have to play deeper than preferred and means we’re still stuck with lingard or pereira in the no.10 role.

Would like to see greenwood play upfront instead of out wide but can see him even being rested for James.

On paper we should win but my head says we’ll struggle again.

1-0 Burnley. Please god let me be wrong.

Since Jose went to Spurs hes started Dier then completely binned him off. Imagine if he’d got his way at Utd and we’d actually signed him. Scary thought.

I much prefer to be able to beat the big teams and struggle against the small ones than beat the small teams and struggle against the big teams. The former is on paper an easier fix.

Problem with the current 11 is that Martial is a lazy twat and offers no movement up front, lingard is the worst 10 in the league, de Gea is in the worst form of his life, Maguire is not doing what he was signed to do.

If we sign Haaland and relegate Martial that’s one problem hopefully solved, if Pogba stays and plays over lingard that’s another fixed, and if Romero gets a run and puts pressure on de Gea to show him he’s not invincible that’s another problem addressed.

Ironically I can see us battering Newcastle if Pogba starts ahead of lingard.

Think martial has to go. Has all the talent but the worst attitude and energy levels I’ve seen in a long time. When he turns up he’s electric but it’s too few and far between.

A proper leader on the pitch would have been all over the ref for the time wasting by foster. We spent about 20 mins waiting for him to take a goal kick.

Maguire needs a better partner but he’s making Phil Jones look good at the minute.

Good of martial to turn up in the 85th minute. Absolute disgrace.

Why is Greenwood being shoved out wide?

De Gea needs dropping for Romero. Cost us 5 points in 2 games.

When Martial isn’t in the mood he’s worse than useless. Should have been subbed on 60 mins for Greenwood. Mata should have come on for Lingard earlier. At least he has a bit of composure in the final third and he’ll drag defenders out of position.

    Shaw was poor today.

Maguire doesn’t inspire at all. Hasn’t scored yet for us and seems to lack the desire and hunger to get a head on it it the opposition box.

Thought McTominay had a off day too.

Fred did well. Wan-Bissaka a beast again.

Thought de Gea was fouled, but keepers get too much protection.

Watching Greenwood last night and there’s definitely something RvP about him.

Think we’re in a good place at the minute and will have too much for Everton even with Ferguson rallying his troops.

    2-1 Utd.

Zico, you’re way off with McTominay and Fred. They were both excellent. It’s no coincidence our form has improved with the return of McTominay. Or do you still think we should be going for Clasie?!

Really don’t get it. How can we get results against Chelsea twice, Arsenal, Liverpool, Leicester and now spurs, but play awful against palace, Southampton, West Ham, Newcastle, Sheffield and villa?!

Martial injury may be a blessing in disguise, but if we had Pogba in the no.10 role instead of lingard I think we’d be so dangerous.

Mctominay is turning into a vital player for us. No coincidence his return coincided with a better result and performance.

Maguire seems to be getting worse per game. Can’t even string a simple pass together anymore. Thought Williams was unlucky to be dropped for Young too.

I don’t understand how we can play well against Brighton then forget how to play when it comes to Sheffield Utd and Villa. Is McTominay that much of a miss?

Biggest things I took from the game is no movement upfront apart from Mata. Martial needs a rocket up his arse as hes making Lukaku look mobile. And we have no midfield. Pereira and Fred are Championship level at best. After losing Herrera we have our first 3 midfielders out. Most teams would struggle with those loses. Imagine Liverpool without Fabinho, Keita and Henderson. City without Fernandinho, Rodri and Gundogan. Chelsea without Kante, Jorginho and Kovacic. Our players aren’t that quality but theyre missed.
