I feel that it is high time that we go back to the era when only the champions played in the European Cup. How can you be Champions of Europe, when you are not even Champions of your domestic league?? I know that in the past, the UEFA Cup (now Europa league, is not as prestigious as it used to be, and Cup Winners Cup has gone completely. IT IS A JOKE……….

Never really think about ENIC and who cares as long as the team are doing well, and that is the important thing to most Spurs fans……..

I agree, but problem is try to keep them all happy. If they just want to have their 100k a week and not contribute much to the team, then we do not want them. I agree that we need another striker to support Kane, but perhaps our system with one main striker (Kane), does not work with two strikers. Perhaps Kane, and then a 2nd striker just behind him, rather than a partner, makes more sense??? Cannot think of anyone available at moment though, and I never really rated Pavyluchenko or Keane.

You must be talking about Spurs, but don’t forget when you got relegated in 1974 or were you supporting someone else then??

Well, I have to say that we just didn’t turn up and put in a shocking performance. At 2-0 down, you look to our bench and who do you see that may turn things round? NOBODY. Gone are the days we could call on Gary Brooke or someone of that ilk. Squad is not strong enough. SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!!

So what about penalties? They do tend to even themselves out at the end of the season. Though I would have to say that Leicester had 12 penalties awarded last season, and Man United only had ONE!!!

The FA should have employed him as England manager without a doubt. Trouble is they wanted a YES man, something that he would never have been so we went for the safe options. Ron Greenwood followed by Bobby Robson!!! TYPICAL…….

OK, we didn’t stuff them but 3 points is 3 points and or record now reads:- Won 11, Lost 9, Drawn 9. Still not brilliant but better than it was yesterday!!!

Well, what can I say about the Sunderland game? We need a positive performance, a positive result, and to score goals and concede less. Personally, I think that we will win, 4-0 would be a good result??

It’s good that Lloris is back. Vorm is a good no. 2, but I am sure that Lloris instils more confidence in the back 4 and he is such a great keeper. Nothing less than a win today boys, STOKE ARE BOTTOM!!!

Let’s not bother listening or even reading about who we’re supposedly signing until it actually happens and the season starts. We all know what we need to sign, but it all matters on i. will player sign for us? ii. will we pay the wages the player/agent wants?iii. are these players available? iv. is current squad good enough to take us to next step?

Let’s not rush in and sign players who will not improve the team, and end up languishing on bench / in reserves. We need a clear objective and I hope that Poch realises that.

We all know of managers who have spent loads on shite, but out of the current Man Utd squad there are only 2-3 players that I would want Spurs to go after. I think that Mourhino will not spend £200 million on crap though!!!

OK, he had to go, but do you think Mourhino will do any better with the current United squad? He will definitely need a few signings, but as a Spurs fan, I hope he doesn’t come looking to us for players. Man Utd will have to pay big wages to get players into a team that are not in Champions League. That will be tough, but you will find players who will do just that!!!

I agree, but there was no excuse for that end of season collapse, picking up a miserly TWO points out of the last TWELVE (i.e. 4 matches) available. The most disappointing aspect is finishing behind Arsenal AGAIN!!!!

I am not an Arsenal fan, I support Spurs, but let me just say I think that it’s great that Spurs and Arsenal will finish in Top 3 this season. You will definitely beat Villa for starters and may finish above us if we lose away to Newcastle. Let’s hope that both teams will do themselves justice in Champions League next year!!! P.S. Great to see Chelsea where they are as well……….

I think that he’s doing a great job at Man Utd, as they WILL NOT finish in Top 4!! It may be like 1990 when Fergie was on verge of getting sacked and then won FA Cup that year. OK they did not win the Prem until 92/93 season, but they never looked back after that. It is far too easy to sack managers these days, but you can’t expect a manager to be successful immediately.

I must say that in his first season at WHL, I was very disappointed and thought what a waste of £30 million!! This season, however, has seen an improvement but I have yet to see him grab a game by the scruff of the neck and stamp his authority on it. Let’s see what our record signing will do next season!!! COYS
