August 4, 2018 at 6:45 pm #1661800Ha ha Rob, I just put the one bet on where we will finish in the Premiership. Other bets maybe later in the CL.
But I generally think we should win at least one trophy next season

C/L: quarters
FA Cup: Semi
League cup: Semi
Top scorer: Bobby
1ST Sack/resign: RafaAugust 5, 2018 at 12:46 am #1661818Bob c$ty will make a good start and middle and finish, their squad is too deep in quality to compete with.
August 5, 2018 at 9:17 am #1661838We kept the core and added to a team that were unstoppable at times last season. So much so that we all wondered what might have been if we had Van Dijk for the entire season or if we had a world class keeper. It looks like those holes at the back are plugged. It’s hard to know how long it will take for Alisson and Fabinho to settle but I’m putting it out there that between them they could be the difference in 15 to 20 extra points given away softly last season.
I’m backing our team to win the league. We’ve our best squad in as long as I can remember, we’ve decent cover across the pitch and finally team balance. Ideally we would bring in 1 or 2 more upgrades, but can’t but be happy with our transfer business. Sure injury issues could derail us and city have a stronger overall squad but that’s football. Don’t think we will go as far in champions league though.Prem league.
1st. Liverpool
2nd. City
3rd. Arsenal
4th. ChelseaChampions league semi-final
Fa cup qtr
League cup winners.August 5, 2018 at 9:59 am #1661853Pl: 3rd (city, chel, liv, utd, tott, ars)

Fa cup: 2nd
League cup: winners
Top scorer: salah
First sacking: hughesAugust 5, 2018 at 10:05 am #1661854Aussie yes they have good quality and depth but we aren’t a million miles away and have added in some key areas. Had we bought another cb and forward I’d say we would end up finishing top, as it is I honestly believe we will run them close and I think the team we have is better than Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs.
Just my thoughts of course.
August 5, 2018 at 1:31 pm #1661910Bob I agree mate we have added where we needed & as Fulcrum said we finally have some balance in the squad which is awesome to finally have. Problem is c$ty already had that balance & depth & without trying to be a party pooper I think we are over reliant on Salah. We still dominate games without him but don’t have that killer instinct when he doesn’t play.
Just my opinion mate & to be honest I wouldn’t be overly surprised if we finish 2nd but over the course of the season I think it’s more than likely we will not be able to maintain the challenge to c$ty & just lack that bit of depth to get 2nd. One thing for sure we will be good to watch so I can’t wait for kick off next week, I think we have a lot to look forward to.August 5, 2018 at 2:40 pm #1661931Number8, Liverpool are not over reliant on Salah.
What about Mane and Firmino, and now Shaqiri, Sturridge and Keita, all game-changers.
What about the CL Final and Semi-Final
(2nd leg) where Mane was outstanding?August 5, 2018 at 3:23 pm #1661942Premiership – 2nd
Champions League – Semi final
FA Cup – Final
League Cup – Winner
Highest Scorer – Salah 28
First Sacking/Resignation – Claude PuelI really do think we can win it but still think we have one or two Achilles heels that other teams will exploit over the course of a season. Lovren is one of them and I’m hoping VVD doesn’t get injured, if VVD is injured then there is a massive quality drop off that no one can cover. I would have liked us to have signed a decent partner for VVD. Will not signing a Coutinho replacement come back to bite us later too? Other than that we look great, if we can get lucky with injuries and overcome those issues mentioned above then we could be celebrating the league title rather than the second place i predicted.
August 5, 2018 at 6:35 pm #1661979Mwake, is Shaqiri not the Coutinho replacement, for now?
