Clueless, wittless and timid. No these are words that we don’t use about Pompey this season. Yesterday was best for the performance with the goals thrown in and the 3 points it meritted. Hartlepool came at us in particular before Lavery’s peach of a goal and Pompey met the challenge in style.

Next up Northampton, the surprise package given their woes off the pitch and it should be a great game, there will be goals as Northampton average 2 a game at home recently and we average 2 a game away. Which ever way you look at it thisgame will be a measure of how we are doing as we go head to head with the form team of league 2

Dunno where Richard has got to and perhaps FFF is lost for words this season, though it would be great if he could come back and share his wisdom.

Richard’s still here! Yes good performance (can’t fault 4-0) but Northampton is the last game of the season Chris. Yesterday’s Wimbledon game was postponed as you probably know. We’re not going to make auto-promotion but play-offs are looking OK as long as we don’t go back to the silly season. A play-off final at Wembley would be awesome as we should be able to fill most of the seats in the ground if the opposition doesn’t take it’s 1/3 allocation. But still a way to go yet!

Hi Richard I have just listened to Pompey getting the (rare) 1-0 victory and 3 of the other 4 dropping points our future is clearly in out hands.

So 5 points behind the automatics and a game in hand Pompey are more than masters of our own destiny, now the game against Plymouth is a real 6 pointer where we could take one of adversaries out.

I think not having to play Wimbledon on a puddle pitch was divine intervention. Play up Pompey.
