Arsenal´s dynamic midfield will eat us alive.
Unai Emerey has found some tidy energetic players like Torreira and Matteo.
Thats completely different what Mourinho advocates and we will see the difference.
This can be the final nail in Mourinho´s coffin.

Can you believe it Unai emery has been there 5 mins and the football is much better more resilient etc.

Just look closely at their line up bar aubam.. no real world beaters! Makes our situation look horrific. That’s why I’m not giving up on the likes of pogba martial just yet etc not until a new manager comes in with a diff mindset.

You can definitely bin the grandad brigade.

    Don’t care!
Have an invite to go and watch this with a few mates, one of which has just witnessed the best atmosphere ever at the Emirates apparently. I’m not going to go.
Reckon arsenal will win 2-1 or maybe more.

We will win. Not sure how, might not deserve to, might not be any logic as to why we will win, but we will.

We usually play better against the better sides and we cannot play any worse.

Need a massive kick up the arse, but they have needed one for a long time. 2-1.

We will win, as I said am going for 2-1.

You not what has really surprised me this season? We are yet to get a huge whopping, by this I mean scoreline wise, 4 or 5 nil.

The sad thing is that a result against Arsenal and even Liverpool won’t change anything. The current set up is beyond saving. I just hope that some of the players who are letting the shirt and fans down so badly get the boot along with the manager and whoever else goes. Hard to believe how wrong its gone over the past 5 years. Not even talking titles. We look so far away from being even a top 4 side its scary.

Think it will be a 1-1 draw. Sitters galore missed. Unless we can put it on a plate for Lukaku like Rashford the other day, he won’t improve. He’s an instinctive striker, his control isn’t great but if he can shoot first time, or attack a cross with his head, chances are he’ll at least get it on target. Ask him to dribble or control before shooting and he’ll let you down more often than not.

Yes united we win….arsenal do demonstrate perfectly what a change of manager and a fresh approach can do in a short space of time, if you get it right. I wouldn’t back Woodward to spot a ripe banana though, never mind the next manager who can bring back the success we are all after. If, as I have been told, Pochetino is the new man I am not convinced he will get a tuneful note out of this lot.

With the Arsenal game in mind though, the big problem is that we just don’t have a clue what United will do from one game to the next. For all we slag this lot off, mostly correctly, I don’t think we are half as bad as some of you enjoy making us out to be. Coventry City wouldn’t go to Turin and beat Juventus. Colchester City couldn’t come from a goal behind and play Chelsea off the pitch for the second half. The second half against Newcastle or Bournemouth could not be replicated by Bristol Rovers.

Just occasionally, some of the talented players we have remember that they’re capable of playing well and sometimes Jose Mourinho remembers that he’s supposed to be managing Manchester United and things click. It has happened in quite a few big games too.

The most galling thing about all of our current problems is that it doesn’t have to be like this. It really doesn’t.

@wg, I fear as long as Jose is in charge it will be like this unfortunately, Woodturd is just another piece of straw with which to break the camel’s back.

There have been games where we have played well for a period but if you play shit in a first half and well in the second BUT you don’t get top marks for the game on the basis of 45 minutes well played. You get 10/10 for the good half, 0/10 for the bad half giving an average of 5/10 which is half bad !

Same applies to players. Its no good playing well for 20 minutes then crap for the other 70 or playing well 1 game then crap for 6 games. Evaluations must be based on average performance over time.

I too am going for a score draw.Hopefully Arse wont play like they did against Spurs, otherwise they will spank us.But we also are capable of beating anyone,if we turn up.

I’m going for 1-1 draw. I reckon it will be cagey stuff from both sides then one side scores (probably the Arse) the other side wakes into action until the equalizer comes and then both sides are happy to run down the clock for a draw.

I’ve been eagerly looking at the back pages hoping to see the news Joze has been sacked.. And after the Southampton game Sparky gets fired and Jose survives.. There’s no justice in this world is there.

From what I have seen of him, Fred looks like a player who can put his foot in and is not afraid of making a tackle. Sounds just like the player Jose thinks he needed on Sat!!!? I wonder if he’ll play against Arsenic or just sit on the bench again? I wouldn’t tip United to beat Aldershot at the moment!

Apparently there’s a virus affecting the dressing room in Man Utd, Pogba-itis has been rampant for over two and a half years now and it’s having a devastating impact on all concerned. Jose is very worried and has asked about getting immunisation but it’s endemic. It seems the only cure might be to sell Pogba bringing the club over £100m. What are we waiting for?

It’s a bit of a Catch 22 for him isn’t it killyboye? He’s clearly downed tools so he’s not showing anything like the sort of form that might persuade a club of the stature he thinks he’s at to pay the sort of money that would persuade us to sell. And he’s on a long enough contract for us to shrug and play the waiting game. The only way out I can see is if his greedy fat mess of an agent can persuade another player from his stable to come in the other direction in a face saving swap deal.

After all the excuses that have been made for him down the years I can’t wait for the day when he metamorphosises in to this world class player we keep being told about. Just looks like a little lost rich boy to me.
