Now we have the bogey off our back and won at home, touch wood we push on.

We’re definitely going to go into the game with some confidence as opposed to a few weeks ago but Arsenal have been a good unit under Arteta overall and don’t leak goals as they used to so I imagine they’ll shut up shop and play on the counter.

It all depends on the line-up Ole goes with:

If he plays Maguire, Matic and Pogba we’ll lose.
If he plays Tuanzebe, Fred and McTominay we’ll win.

Sympathy – Can you give Ole a call and let him know then mate, we want to win this one!!
    🙂

@happyhurling – haha wouldn’t mind having one of those red phones with a direct line to the man… or better yet; just hire me as a first team coach; quite sure I can provide at least some common sense to the coaching staff 😉

BTW I’m glad my man is back on form he has started the season well and has made some superb saves…maybe bringing back Henderson was the push he needed

My lineup against Arsenal would be, i know Arsenal will play for the draw like chelsea and rely on the counter attack
    De Gea
    AwB Harry Victor Tuanzebe Shaw
    Fred
    Bruno DvB
    Rashford James

I’m sure James is the last person people want to see start but he’s just low on confidence and playing him in the big games will do him a world of good. Second half bring on Cavani, Pogba and Greenwood and attack relentlessly the last 30 minutes

I fear you are going to win this comfortably…. with or without James !

We won at PSG followed by a draw at home to Chelsea, I hope we don’t repeat this.

Could the style of the CL make it easier for us? More open, less pressing and less physical.

Good team Libanski but i really hope James is nowhere near the starting line up mate! He might offer some sort of outlet in a closely fought tactical game, but here, at home against an out of form Arsenal team we should be going for the jugular. I can’t be bothered to watch him run into space and then have absolutely no idea what to do on Sunday!
No reason why we can’t play a similar team and style to the Leipzig game.
I like Rashford and Greenwood up top together.

I’d send James out on loan in January.

@mufc – Where to mate?, my loca! pub team perhaps? Don’t forget Swansea sent him out to Shrewsbury Town 3 years and they sent him back pronto because he wasn’t even good enough to get on their bench!😂😂

Arsenal were not that good against Leicester. Static team against a Leicester side who put 10 players behind the ball. Maybe we should try it.

Libanski, McT did not start midweek. He will be the first name on the teamsheet Sunday.

    Yep, agreed Moral.
    De Gay
    AWB, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw
    Scott, Fred
    Bruno
    Rashford

Not sure who else will start but those 9 surely will.
Another 2 from Greenwood, Pogba, VDB, Mata or (dare i say it) James.
Greenwood and Pogba would be my bet so 4-2-2-2

Start Donny and Cavani, then bring on Rashford and Greenwood to cause havoc after the Arse players get tired.

Redblood, I think Arsenal players will be fresh. Am sure they played a second string side in the Europa.
