We have seen this before and not sure what else he could have done except maybe chambers at right back. It’s the 11 I would have played. I don’t really care how we get there just need 3 points today and then we can start again and hopefully have a full squad for the rest of the season.

Could have played Chambers with White in midfield. You can’t play Lokonga there on his own. Smith-Rowe & Odegaard can’t play together, it’s one or the other. Of course if he’d been man enough to put his vendetta against AMN to one side and hadn’t forced him out he could be playing either at right back or more importantly in midfield. Is Lacazette really a goal threat? It’s a shambles so far

We need a striker Laca missed a open goal just like Eddie normally does. Its a shitshow up front.

Lacazette regularly misses open goals and why is he captain? Arteta really is utterly useless

Well no one has scored in 4 games and that what happens when you rely on 2 players who cant hit a barndoor from 1 yard out. Nketia and Laca are no goal threat what so ever.

As for Arteta well If has told his players to cross and send corners in against Burnley then he is just as clueless

I think we already know he’s clueless. We haven’t won a game in this calendar year and it’s down to him. He’s actually made us weaker in this window. And those idiots want to give him an extended contract. You can’t make it up.

At the end we had 2 strikers on that cant score and that are on their way out.

As for Vlahovic or whatever why would he sign for us now when he can just wait and go wherever he wants in the summer

What has happened to Saka? He has been poor for a while, is he burnt out? Playing with an injury? Just seems to make the wrong choices more often lately…

Saka has played a lot I also think he was carrying something since he was listed as injured in the postponement request for Spurs.

But I dont know then again he cant carry Laca who cant score with the goal gaping.

I seem to remember we played like this with crosses, corners before and also then against a team who is very good at defending that and with players who cant win any heading duels.

    Its Arteta tactics for you.

Nketiah gets the occasional 5-10 mins played wide on the left. He may be a striker but he isn’t played like one. Lacazette couldn’t strike a match, why play him. As for Vlahovic he isn’t going to sign and never was. That was just a bullshit story designed to appease the fans, Wengers old trick every Jan Window. We aren’t going to finish in the top 4, we will probably finish no higher than last year. Arteta is never going to succeed at Arsenal, nor any other club come to that. He’s just a Cone Man. Arteta fetch my clipboard, Arteta is my iPad charged up, Arteta have you handed in the team sheet. Just another Stewart Houston.

Nketia is just as bad at finishing as Laca he misses sitters even when played as a striker.

True he does not get as many minutes but when he is played as a striker he is just as toothless against PL teams. I dont count hattricks against league one sides.

Fact is niether he or Laca wants to stay and yet these are the only strikers we have. Because Auba I dont see coming back to the team anytime soon.

And that is down to poor management, the same poor management that has left us without any central midfield players apart from a kid, a total moron who should have been kicked out already and an overrated fool who collects 2 bookings in 5 mins. Arsenals red cards under Cone Man is worse than it was under Clouseau

True that situation is caused by management and I dont see it changing because Arteta can now pull a Wenger when he has Xhaka and Partey back from suspension. Its like a new signing😂

Until the next time they get sent off. Our next game is against Wolves at Molineux and if anyone thinks we will get any points out of that they’re living in a dreamworld.

At the Emirates we should be beating Burnley with the available players we have. People asking what has happened to Saka? He’s exhausted. Most of our young players are going to go downhill from here. But we don’t have any options. Liverpool WILL wave £50M under our noses for Martinelli in the summer and he’s gone. Probably the same with Saka. Did you see him with his arm around Saka after the cup games? Whispering in his ear…He needs to replace Sala and Mane soon and he’s coming after our players.
No signing this window – we will probably get Villareal’s third choice striker on a loan with an obligation to buy for £20m.
Yes – we have the chance for top 4 but it’s unlikely and actually we are just as likely to finish 8th again. if we lose against Wolves that’s where we are. It’s really tight in the table 4-8 place

What a terrible result. How many games have Burnley not won in?And we couldn’t even beat them.If it’s any indication that the past few games have given it’s how poor a squad we actually have.I will say it again,Just because we spent 150m people actually think this is a good squad but It’d struggle to make in the top 8-10 squads in the PL.That’s because all the transfer funds have been spent terribly.

It’s madness that after spending so much our best player still remains Young Saka.Someone who is clearly burnt out now and to rely on such a young player and put so much pressure on him is not only unfair on him but in indication of the failed blueprint of this club to completely rely on youth.

There’s not one team in Europe’s top leagues that wins titles or achieves success by playing youth.
Even Barcelona were forced to turn way too much to their youth system this season particularly, but Xavi has come in and clearly even he feels that’s not going to make them acheive anything and signed experienced proven players even to the desperation of someone as old as Alves.
You need the right balance of youth and expereince although obviously lean more towards the latter for success.

Past few games have convinced me we have no chance for top 4.We might still be in a very decent position but we’re just pretenders as always.
I think to even make the EL spots, this club needs a new striker, midfielder and a right back to say the least.

Top 4 haha who thinks that? We have a rookie coach who thinks crosses and balls in the box will hurt Burnley.

Not the first time either but just like Xhaka stated in an interview about himself he will never change.

Who knew hmm one player did but it was Ramsdale and he could not change it.

Arteta is a joke of a manager

He certainly is and he’s getting more like Wenger every day. The more he gets it wrong the more stubborn he gets.
