No doubt numerous changes will be made, it will be interesting to see who comes in and how many changes are made by Arteta. Will this changed side show the same intensity that Arteta’s first choice XI’s have shown against Chelsea & Mancs Utd. Will Leeds throw everything into the game or prioritise promotion. I’d laugh if Nketiah played and scored a couple. We shall see what happens on Monday night.

Not sure what we will do don’t know who is fit. But from pictures looks like Martinelli is fit and so is Holding but no sign of Bellerin. Martinez in goal holding and sok centr backs. Saka left back, Gwen, Ceb and smith Rowe. Then Martinelli, Nelson, Pepe. Not sure on right back ?

The one thing we don’t want is a replay. Let’s stuff these Yorkies and gather more momentum for games to come.

Well we didn’t stuff them but got the job done. Have to say impressed with Sokratis. Pepe did alright but sometimes I think he tries to dribble his way out of trouble. Be good to see Leeds back in the prem. good side I thought.

Leeds were fantastic first half and we were back to our worse, tho the defending was better, many more blocked shots, tho we gave the ball away time and time again, second half was much better and it was good to hear Arteta shout at the team at half time and make some changes, xhaka was a walking foul and lucky not get cards but did spray some nice long passes and run his socks off, he just isnt good enough unfortunatley, hope he is off to Germany this window….Sok was MoM for me and holding did well after injury, all in all im happy becuase i can see changes even if its slow we can see the changes already

Obviously a game of two halves, the first half was a throw back to Wenger and the first half of this season, awful defending, sloppy, lazy, couldn’t care less. Sokratis couldn’t cope at full back, Kolasinac was over run and Holding was very rusty and poor throughout. Then there’s Xhaka, utterly appalling, this guy is such a bad player it’s untrue. He is so slow, caught in possession time and time again, terrible passing, lazy tracking back and foul after foul. He played as if he couldn’t care less. Guendouzi ran around like a headless chicken and looked lost, Leeds outplayed us completely. The 2nd half was a big improvement, Pepe ran away from players instead of into them, Lacazette was brilliant, Nelson came more into it and looked dangerous. Change of tactics, good substitutions, great to see a manager being proactive after being reactive. Under Emery and Wenger we would have lost that game, under Arteta we came through. Let’s see how we get on in an away game. One footnote, FFS get rid of Xhaka.

Embarrassing first half, we conceded 15 shots at goal.It was bamboozling to be honest. But clearly the half time talk led the way for a completely changed Arsenal side.Leeds are top of the championship and have been fantastic, so not surprised they gave us a really tough battle.
My MOTM was Emi martinez.Made some really tough saves and kept us in the game.
In other observations,I feel our best performances come without guendozi in the side. Not saying he isn’t talented, just not ready. And I’m not sure what his position actually is.

SteveO – i know most have given their opinion on Xhaka, but just to let you know just because a player commits fouls it doesn’t make him a bad player. He’s actually taking 3/4 for the team and putting himself at risk. And most importantly,Arteta was caught on tape in the Amazon prime documentary whilst he was at city telling all of his midfielders to commit fouls when they’re in transition so it is more tactical than not.

Well first half was Pre Arteta and 2nd half post Arteta. The most impressive thing was he knew what was wrong changed it and got the team to play much better 2nd half. Nelson is still frustrating so much talent but cant seem to get it all to click at the same time. Final ball and decision making is still poor and it infuriates me he keeps falling over, that’s just unprofessional wearing the wrong boots. Xhaka got away with murder but happy he did and like the rest of the team 2nd half was much better. Holding was very poor his distribution was shocking hopefully he is just rusty. Sok did well as a right back as he is ever going to be. Ozil was anon first half and Laca worked hard again just needs to get his finishing boots on and great to see Martinelli back. Leeds are very good but they need a bigger squad to play at that tempo al season which is why I think they keep falling away at the end of the season.

Well that first half showed Arteta what a big job he has on his hands and we should have been two or three goals down at least. As I and many others have said, Arteta’s hands are tied as Raul has now taken over as the mini dictator after the major one we suffered with Wenger. Does Edu speak or have any voice- he sits in the stands holding his mobile looking like he’d rather be in Brazil than over here as glum as could be- what does he do? He is responsible for Martinelli, but that aside? Raul has messed up with the money side of things- why refuse any money for Mhiki? Why not take anything for Mustafi, Xhaka, Elneny? On Xhaka, what a clumsy oaf he is, very lucky he didn’t get at least a yellow, if not a red. Perhaps that cretin, Anthony Taylor, who had such a “great” match when we played Spurs at Wembley last year in the 1-1 draw, was trying to redress the balance and let the Albanian get away with murder. Can’t stand that bitter Spud/ Scouser, Danny Murphy who always has it in for us, but he was 100% right about Xhaka- awful player who has cost us for three years.
