I’m starting to feel as if I’m talking to myself given the lack of interest being shown in the club on here. I watched 89 last night on Sky, never seen it before, it was brilliant. You look at that all English born side that played in the final game and everything about them reflected real players who would give blood for the side. Then you look at the gutless, overpaid, couldn’t care less shower we have now. Compare David Rocastle with the useless Ozil, compare Adams with Mustafi, Bould with Luiz, Dixon with Bellerin, Winterburn with Kolasinac, Thomas with Xhaka, Merson with Pepe. It just illustrates the difference between winners who gave everything and gutless mercenaries. We’ve fallen a long way.

Anyway, this should be an easy game and a certain 3 points for The Gunners. Let’s see more of the young players and less of the dross. George Graham showed how young players are the way forward, Arteta pay attention. Dump the dross otherwise we will stay mid table.

Think the problem is Shifty, that we have seen the same old, same old. No defence, slow transition to attack central weakness and poor finishing percentage.
Many on here have spoken and voiced their views and we’ve had some bloody good arguments. All good for open debate and a bit of agro.
I miss many of the “old boys”, who had a chirp and often a bite. I wonder if England’s best got the Elephant I sent him?
I think that we are at the crossroads. The playing members need renewal. There are good and bad in the squad. The manager must be given time to clear out at the end of the season and hopefully, there will be funds to bring in better suited players.
The attitude must change in the squad, and the “Sea lawyers” must go. The focus of Arsenal first must replace individual ambition.
If this will happen only time will tell. As you’ve said 10 years. I hope you’re wrong in this. I hope for some signs of improvement next season. It has been excuse the repeat, same old, same old.
We get angry, with the continued indifference, on and off the field. From owner to Ozil (excuse pun).
    Time for change. Respect.

    Gooner for life.

On paper this should be a no brainer 3 points in the bag but that means with us it will be a mission. At this stage I just want a good performance and it would be great to get an easy win for once. I would definitely keep AMN then Pat will come back, hulk dropped then maybe ceb will start in place of Willock.

Given that we have scraped by two games with wins and that Norwich did not do to bad against an in form Man Utd i dont think it will be that easy.

At the moment we have no attack to speak of, a midfield that plays slow and a defence who is shaky so no we are at the moment at the same level as the bottom teams.

I hope we win but certain Im not.

Not sure what we are playing for CL spot not happening and EL not sure we can manage that either.

I don’t think we can think that far ahead in terms of EL or CL. CL is highly unlikely and really not bothered re EL. At this stage Arteta has a free pass look at all the squad make a decision on what we need next year and then go from there. Hence I am just looking for a good performance and it would be good to see some more of the youth like Coyle or matt smith. He is getting better performances from individuals and even though he is changing things around as much as Emery, the players at least look like they know what they are doing.
What I don’t understand is Ozil was a fixture before lockdown now he has been frozen out, but don’t know why? I am not fussed either way but seems strange I have not heard any rumours re bust ups or anything does anyone know.

Well performance wise with this squad i would be surprised if we produce one game of quality for the remainder of this season.

As for CL or EL that will have an effect on what we do in the summer. Because i doubt we will have money to do anything of substance when we have struggeld for years to get rid of deadweight and the likes of Mustafi, Sokratis, Ozil, Miki and more will not give us much money to get quality in although without European football maybe we can reduce the squad more so who knows. But there is for sure players to ship out. I really hope we can do that.

Well that was nice. 4 goals clean sheet and good performance. Really happy and no complaints for once. Thought Cedric was great for the 10 mins he was on Hector did not look happy coming off and will feel worst now. Good performances across the board except Laca was not great again we scored 4 and he was not involved in any of the goals. Pat was a legend again and congrats on record tonight. By no means are we sorted and still need a rework but for once just going to enjoy the result and the performance.

    Better.
Two bad giveaways, but pressing them was good.
We were lucky with that shot that hit the bar.
I think Mustafi, Bellerin and Lacazette are weak and can look to leave. Was impressed with Cedric. No nonsense fullback. Not great crosses, but they are in him. A bit of steel there too. Good goal. Bellerin’s got some work to do methinks.
I know Norwich are bottom, but this gives the players a bit of confidence and was even good to see Abba smiling for a change. Early days but better.

    GFL.

Changed team, expected easy win. We will need our strongest team at Molineux because Wolves are a better side than us and they’re after top4.

We don’t have easy games any more so it was nice to see one for once can’t remember the last one? The wolves game this will be a good game and will be interesting to see what Arteta does as near every one is fit and he will have lots of options. I am sure he will make changes. I expect Eddie to come back in and will be interesting to see who plays right back ? I expect Saka to come back and possibly pepe? I know it seems obvious but Wolves are great on the break and I think tactically we have to try and do to them what they will do to us and hit them on the break. This game should give us a real gauge of how good we are at the moment.
