This is going to be some match!
    Excited and nervous
    Form goes out the window!
Kane always scores against us and we are still fragile defensively but we will be more rested and hopefully emery has a plan and the lads execute it!

Going to with my heart on this one and say 2-1 to the arsenal!!!

Cheers mate, been a long time coming and we were lucky to be the last of a hard 3 games in a week for you, as you showed against Chelsea it could have been different, but we are slowly becoming a much better and different team under Emry

What a game! Full of incidents, goals and passion. A famous victory! The atmosphere in and around the ground was the best it’s ever been. And I’ll hold my hands up Torriera is an absolute brilliant signing and I was delighted to see him score even if it did lose me the prediction! He has become such and important player for us.

Also, how important is Aubameyang? We’ve missed a top stricker for a while now and he is it, a player who is full of goals. The way he took the second goal was class and I’d really like to see more of him and Laccazette starting up front together. Ramsey too played an important role and even if he’s leaving I think he needs to start.

    Bring on Man Utd!

What a game!! We were outstanding and they are a very good team but we played them off the park. Emery is going to be a legend if he carries on like this and this is not even his team!! No one would have called those subs….Maybe Mikitarian but it made a difference and when we see Ramsey play like that it looks a big mistake to let him go and keep Mik even with the contract situation. Tor is absolutely fantastic and now my only worry is if he gets injured we cant replace him. Aube what a goal he scored and left one of the best keepers in the world standing with a shot outside the box! I could go through the whole team and it was outstanding and if emery can get another performance out of them on Wednesday he will be even more of a legend. TSO even you must be happy with the aggression shown yesterday! Great Great day, great performance and great result COYG

One thing that i lpoved about yesterday was our atmosphere. It hasnt been likethat since the latter years at Highbury. it was truly eletric, probably helped that a shit ton of us had a skinful at the pins prior 🙂
Great game and great result. Unai Emery is a forward thinking tactician. Doesnt care for reputations which failed him at PSG but will do him wonders at Arsenal.
Lucas Torreira, what a signing, what a lad. almost crying after his first goal for us, that’s proper passion.
Only thing missing was someone nutting that little rat Alli. Genuinely cant stand his face!
On to the Mancs now and amazingly i am hoping they start both Lukaku and pogba, never thought i be wishing for that to happen!

this is great to see and read lads!!
its been a long time in the wilderness for us so we really should enjoy this and whats going on we deserve it!!

i will also humble state that i think Ramsey is a TRUE professional, i said previously i didnt care if he left but HE under emery has made me change my mind….dont think he will stay but i will be sorry for him to go, his interview after the game must have been hard.

    top man

    Emery,just thank you….

Yea I forgot to say the atmosphere was as good as I have ever heard. I know there is no one left on here but interested to see what people think about Ozil ???? Emery did not do his best in covering it up that he actually dropped him as its crap to say he did not know when he got injured, that he did not know when he did it or if he was at the ground???? He is an amazing player but the 100% intensity and press and tracking back and tackling is just not in him, which is ridiculas as that’s the easiest part of the game and any player can do that bit. I don’t know where we go with him. My theory is that he does not fancy him in this formation and the team looses more that it gains if he plays as we don’t have a good enough left back. Once Monreal is back and we go back to 442 he will be back although not sure he will change it if we keep playing like that and winning.

That was quite possibly the best NLD we have witnessed in a long long time.Atmosphere was electric, and our players were really fired up for this one.
Apart from one or two instances,I really did enjoy the attitude of the players.

From minute one,and I speak for the majority of the team we really wanted to stamp our authority over them.Speaking of those instances, that I didn’t like.First one was Holding. The guy is an overglorified Player and most people want to desperately like him because he’s English and we lack English talent but it dosen’t make him good.Just look what he did,Son clearly dives without any contact from Holding and his reaction is Oh no I did tackle him,he looked confused. No passion to go and even shout at the ref.I don’t rate him at all,he might be decent at best.Second instance, just who the hell does Dier think he is,coming and shooshing the crowd,we were lucky that we had a leader like Lichsteiner and a passionate player like Ramsey right beside who had the courage to go upto him.The whole team should have gone and jumped on his back, because that was pure disrespectful espescially on ur turf.
Apart from that,I thououghly enjoyed the game. The desire, the passion, the commitment.Just brilliant, and that is what we lack in other games.Yes,an NLD where understandably we were more fired up but if we took this attitude like this into every game then I’d be a really happy fan.It has nothing to do with winning the title or not,all I want to see is that attitude and desire in our team.

PS- Auba finally performs in a big game for us,brilliant performance from him this is where he earns his bucks.

So let me get this straight: if Holding went and shouted at the ref the red card would have been overturned? You might be right that Holding might not be good enough but to say all he needs to do is bark at the referee then he’s excused for his football ability or lack of is ridiculous.

Just what the hell are you on about.I haven’t mentioned any Red card yet…I was talking solely about the Penalty incident where Son blatantly dives, and Holding neither shouts at him for diving nor does he even appeal to the ref.If you’re asking whether the penalty would’ve been overtunred after he’d given it,no it wouldn’t have because that mostly depended on the instant reactions after the incidents. But it sure does give an idea of how little holding cared,or how stupid he is that even in such a huge game he gives the impression it was a penalty when it actually wasn’t.He should thank the rest of the team they bailed him out, otherwise he would’ve been hugely responsible.

Since you do bring the red card incident up though, that was probably another thing I didn’t like in the match.Spuds were losing it and imploding.But..that challenge on Lacazette from verthongen was a potential leg breaker. He was lucky nothing happened to him,but something that happened to welbeck could’ve happened to lacazette as well. But just after the tackle, how many players went upto Verthongen to warn and shout at his idiotic tackle?None.I just saw bellerin spouting something at him but that’s about it.We need to be able to stand up to the other team, and let them know if they are being too physical and beyond the point of dangerous. It happened against sporting and it happened yesterday as well.If that tackle happened in the manchester derby say on aguero or someone, you would’ve seen atleast four or five players rushing upto the guilty party and the ref.So yes, while i did enjoy the passion yesterday,we still lack that ruthlessness to stand upto tough, physical opponents.

there were several bust ups between players and the squad, especially after the celebrated a goal in fornt of our fans, that was the right kind of passion for me, i have never and will never like players of any team surrounding and hounding a ref, its ugly and more likely to get a player a card for it

steveO – Noone likes to see that happened, but it does happen because it is in the nature of game. When you watch teams like city, barca, real they do it because it is an indication of their desire, and how much they want to win each and every challenge. That’s what makes them amongst the best teams in the world. That is called desire.
Also like i pointed out we need to start knowing how to stand upto dangerous teams and make the ref aware that they are losing it.Spurs were imploding and were putting in some terrible tackles. Please go and watch the challenge on Lacazette again,it was senseless and it should have been a straight red card. What does it take fans to realise that, would you want to have seen Lacazette strechered off?As it is it’s already happened to welbz.

Anyways,I think you get my point.Overall though I did like the attitude of the players,if only we took it into every single game.
