After our last 2 games team selection will be fascinating. I see no way that Pepe, who has been a disappointment, can keep the superior Reiss-Nelson out of the side. The same applies regarding Nketiah and Lacazette. Martinelli who was on fire seems to be temporarily out of favour whilst Saka is our best left back, best wife left midfield player and our biggest threat. We have got to play these youngsters and get them tied down on long term contracts, they are our future. We have got to dump the poor signings, Mustafi, Sokratis, Luiz, Kolasinac, Xhaka, Ozil, Mkhitaryan, Lacazette and reduce our wage bill and sigh 2 top quality central defenders and 2 top quality central midfield players. Torreira can leave as well and I have no doubt Abameyang will jump ship. Why we bought Pepe I just don’t know, he wasn’t needed and hasn’t impressed, for £72million I expect class not an actor, that money should have been spent on the defence. Let’s see what team Arteta selects.

The last 2 months has been pure ups and downs ride. The players Emery signed (guendosy and torreira) were good at start. But had been declining over a year.
It was refreshing to see them do their best in the last two months. I wish they would stay in the club, because they got potentiality to become very good players.

As for our useless usual suspects (you all know who they are, so no need to mention or write their names) They can fuzz off from the club. Little improvements over the last two months. And if it makes you think how much worth they were brought in and see their efforts. It should be wise from the club’s point of view to sell them at low cost. It is painful, but necessary to reduce the wage budgets.

The biggest floop of the year must be Pepe. Bench him and as you wrote sign up the youth players contract up to 5 years. And end up the season with the hungry kids.

I do fear a defeat against West ham if we play the useless players. But it’s a derby so anything can happen.

I am happy with the team except Sok at right back. Its madness. We have better options even with hector out of form AMN should play. We are to predictable and will spend all game over loading the left. If emery did this we would have gone mad. I am an Arteta fan but don’t agree with this.

Once again we were extremely fortunate to get anything out of this game never mind a win. West Ham crested far more chances and had more efforts on goal. Our defence was again all over the place but our biggest problem was in midfield, our build up is far too slow and the problem is there for all to see. And that problem is Xhaka, slows down every attack, repeatedly gives the ball away and his lack of mobility meant that West Ham were able to run at our back4 constantly whilst he was treading water trying to keep up with play. The guy is utterly useless and has to go. Going forward we were again let down by the posing Pepe who thinks he’s a ballet dancer, problem is he never delivers, waste of £72m. Ozil had one of his good games, Ceballos was good and Abameyang & Nketiah both worked hard but couldn’t really get into the game. MOTM Leno, although he almost conceded in the 1st min thanks to Xhaka. A lot of this rubbish has to be shipped out in the summer.

Just watched the game and obviously great result if not great performance. It was a bit Wenger like that we had all the ball but conceded too many chances and if not for Leno and again them not having a finisher decent Centre forward we would have dropped points. Its not quiet happening for us going forward in terms of the last third. Pepe and Ozil thing does not seem to work, It was the quietest I have ever seen Aube and Eddie worked hard and his hold up play is much better but not really a goal threat. We also lack a real goal threat from Ozil or Ceb or Pepe which makes a difference in terms of teams defending against us. The positive’s are we kept a clean sheet, Ceb was very good and so was Leno. Thought Mari did OK and as someone said he is a bit like Mertesacker with a long pass! At this stage of the season we just need results so I can take that at the moment.
