Talk about being in a tough spot ! One wonders who the hell sanctioned the deal with Pardew, that sees him get a million quid, if he’s fired before July.

As painful as it may be to pay this slimy second-hand car salesman this money, not doing so could prove to be a lot more costly, because we need action right now. We are going down, that is not an issue. But we need someone who is young and inspirational…someone who really knows modern football to come in, right now, and evaluate what we have between now and the end of the season…to see who we are going to lose, who is worth keeping and, most importantly, who we need.

If management waits until July to get rid of Pardew, it will be too late for a new person to do anything before we find ourselves at the bottom of the championship. And that, with the prospect of further relegation, would cost a lot more than a million quid.

So let the smarmy head-butter go NOW!

Apparently his wages will halve if we go down as will the cash to replace him hence keeping him on until then. Hopefully management will find a decent replacement for him but not the one’s mentioned so far (I’m not holding my breath). Neither Appleton nor McInnes have a good track record in the Champs and although the latter is doing well in Scotland the standard there outside of Celtic is not very good. Marco Silva is apparently off to Benfica so he’s out of it. I’m not too keen on Dean Smith but if Fulham miss out on promotion then Jokanovic would be a good choice!
