This is going to be another tough one and hard to call after such a long break, bournemouth are playing very well and have beaten many teams

im going to go for a 1-3 win to us!

I’ll go with 2-1 to Arsenal, but considering we have been playing poorly we might end up losing the game. That’s how unpredictable this game is,although in generally speaking we should be able to beat them. Can’t afford to drop anymore points,if we don’t pick up the 3 points suddenly even top four will look tough to achieve.

3-1, nice rest for alot of the players so fatigue shouldn’t be an issue here. Tough first half few scares but come 76th minute we’ll be 3-1 up.

Important win,but thought we were very unconvincing.Stats were an illusion in today’s game.Apparently we had 15 attempts at goal, but I struggle to remember one good save Begovic made. Most of them were hardly of any threat.I thought they were more threatening.I’m not saying we didn’t deserve it,but I just didn’t feel satisfied today.

Been saying it for weeks,we lack tenacity and aggression but most importantly desire.I just asked for one thing from emery which was an improvement in the above areas but clearly we haven’t and it will affect us sooner or later I mean not like we’re on top form anyways. Our defense is a shambles,we start with a back 5(I know bellerin and kolasinac essentialy play as midfielders) but still they allow pressure at times and we afford them so much space and time it’s unbelievable at times. For example, what the hell was happening for the goal they scored,we could very well have avoided it but we’re just allowing them to do what they want.Towards the end of the match, they could’ve easily equalised, their players were so much more aggressive.I observe small little things and it’s so unconvincing. Not that i like saying it obviusly but if Spurs had signed any players in the summer,or Man united had a different manager we’d have no chance at the top 4.Important games ahead,we need to show more desire if we are to improve in the long run.

Thought we played well. It was never going to be easy as Bournemouth are a good team and had all their big guns out today who we did keep fairly quiet. As usual we started the game poorly but I think that was more down to the change in formation but once we settled down we were good. Their front three is one of the best out there and we manged to keep there chances limited especially Wilson who I thought we shackled well. Love that no one is safe in this team and every one is playing for there places. No one saw Ozil being dropped yesterday but its great that he has to play for his place. I thought Iwobi did well great set up for the winner and not sure why he is getting hammered for loosing the ball in there box before they scored? That’s where the rest of the team was to far forward and they allowed them to run almost the whole length of the pitch. Miki is so frustrating as his final ball most of the time is pants and I think we could do with someone better there, maybe in the summer! The reason why he and Iwobi get in front of Ozil is there work rate off the ball they both put a shift in and actually tackle or try to, they don’t just do the miles as Ozil does but his final ball is miles better than both of them.
TSO I wont go back again to the old argument of appealing and aggression whether that will make us any better. As we will never agree. But I would say thought that yesterday as a team I thought we were aggressive in our play especially the back three.

Great result and good to get that in before the Spurs GAme COYG!

Stev- There’s nothing to argue about that, all those factors are inter-related.You show more aggression and tenacity and it ultimately shows the desire of the team.Do I think we have improved from last season?Yes,but only slightly. But are we there yet as to what top teams show?No a long long way to go.I don’t know if it will take time but we will need it sooner or later if we are to challenge for top honours.Like I said on yesterday’s game, they could’ve easily equalised. We need to be in a position where we’re constantly dominating and giving them from few to no chances every game.

Interesting question about whether we are better. We are 2 points better off at this stage than last season and one place lower. As you said we are definitely not there but I think a lot of it is personal. The squad is unbalanced and I think it will be better to judge once he gets the players that he wants or needs.

stev – Didn’t realise that,it’s pretty surprising as this looks like a different team from last season,a better spirit and showing more determination. In all the games we’ve played in the PL this season,we haven’t led once at half time. Why is it we struggle so poorly in the first half.Is Emery’s pre game management doubtful?Because his ingame management is certainly brilliant as whatever he says at half time seems to be working.

Either ways, even though the squad is unbalanced.I have absolutely no confidence in this club will make the right decisions or right signings(if they make any at all).As it is rescinding Ramsey’s contract offer was one of the worst decisions ever taken by this club. Can anyone give me a reasonable explanation of how that makes any sense at all? What he’s not worth what he’s demanding?Well this idiotic management does realise that getting a replacement of his quality and paying him wages would cost the club the same if not more.Unless, this club plans to bring no one in,which I won’t be surpised with and it would all would make sense.Letting go of a proven PL player who for once actually wants to stay and we’re pushing him out?Terrible decision.

We know the higher management is responsible, but dear oh dear I do hold Emery responsible as well.Didn’t he want to build a team around ramsey? For me I doubt his decisions in the transfer marker.Coming from spain,He focuses a lot on South american/spanish kind of talent who are purely technical players. All the players we are linked with are those type of players. And for the PL,I have huge doubts his model will succeed. We need to have the right balance and pick all “types” of players, mostly who can take physicality of the PL.
