3 points is all that matters, 3 points is everything. Don’t care how we won today, don’t care how we played.

On to the next game, time to open the beers

We were quite poor, but we won, we got the three points and we’re back on track, that’s what matters the most. The pressure is now on City to reduce the lead again. Hopefully Wolves will do us a favour tomorrow.

Massive three points today. Brighton are not push overs at home and deny space well. Mo off colour today but a rasper of a pen.

To those who don’t ‘get’ Henderson….he was the main reason that we managed to see out that game without too many scares. So reliable in keeping possession and always made the right decision. The value of Henderson was exemplified within a minute of Keita coming on who instantly gave away possession which resulted in Brighton’s most dangerous moments. But if you can’t see it……

Totally agree songman. All about the win today mate

Don’t give a rats ass how we won,we just had to bounce back today. They had 11 men behind the ball. It was very difficult so it’s a huge huge win.

Fabhino did really well. Vvd his usual beast self

Much better from Winji and hendo 2nd half

That’s a massive massive win lads

    Weeks rest now till palace

Pressure back on city and spurs

Never like to see utd win so a draw tomorrow be a great result

Red herring agree about keita. Two terrible balls when he came on. His confidence looks shot

We managed the game well and Henderson and Winji really helped us do that

    Massive win

    Away win
    Clean sheet
    3 points
    And with a makeshift defence.
Should have Matip back next weekend for Palace who incidently lost today at home.

Calm collected win without getting out of 2nd gear what’s not to like better than being dumped out of the fa cup. Sometimes I really wonder if we all watch the same game ?

Red Herring, Henderson was outstanding today, but far better in the 2nd half mind you.

He and Gini keep it neat and tidy in possession and recovery, without being spectacular, and as long as the 3 points keep coming, I’m not complaining about either of them.

As for Keita, he is a great player, but just seems short of confidence, and lack of playing time isn’t helping him either. Hopefully he’ll get his act together soon

We keep grinding out result after result with unspectacular football. I love it 😊

You do know that’s not going to happen. Man city are in the groove at the moment to thump teams.
Game will be over in the first half.

Shedend: You probably thought the same before the Palace but we all know what happened.

Shocking first half littered with sloppy passes and lack of creativity but better showing in the second half with players playing with intent. Not the best of performance but I guess 3 points is all that matters now.

    71% possession
    14 shots to 7
Not one shot on goal by them
    1-0 sounds about right.
Plenty of 1-0 scorelines for past champions, especially away at mid table clubs.
Very important not to let the last two results carry over. Hopefully back on track. Nice rest before a winnable game against Palace. Lots tone positive about
