Team selection makes a little more sense although I’d much rather see Nelson for Pepe and Martinelli for Lacazette, they are the future not the other pair. I shall be keeping a close eye on Pepe during the game, he hasn’t delivered since we signed him and if he doesn’t improve he has to go although we will lose a fortune on him. It looks as if Arteta has given up on the gutless Ozil, it seems the £350,000 per week bottler hasn’t tried in training. For Christ’s sake dump the loser. We must win this game so much more effort and belief required, let’s see what happens.

Worst Arsenal team I can ever remember. From the top to the bottom there is no heart or soul in Arsenal. I don’t know how Arsenal can turn it around in general. There is something rotten there to the core. Arsenal were chasing another goal for the winner and with Ozil on the bench, Arteta brings on Willock and Nelson. This doughnut doesn’t have a clue. He should go back to being Pep’s tea maker.

I just feel sick this is beyond a joke this season let’s just call it a day and start again next year. We did let in two shot goals but before we slate the back 4 we were shit up front and should have Created more and scored more goals

Whilst it’s all still very shit I’m not entirely sure what everyone is really expecting from arteta. Just look at what he has walked into.
Ozil and everything around him contract effort etc
Players running contracts down, our best player is likely to leave and our captain (IMO he shouldn’t be captain if he ain’t signing)
The defenders available- this alone needs a whole post.
    The injury list
    A pandemic
    No funds
Taking over from a circus show

All this and also all the changes above him and restructuring. Klopp and pep both wouldn’t couldn’t fix this shit. We also don’t have any players really worth anything that could potentially help raise some cash ala Liverpool with countinho. We’d have to sell at least 7 players to only sign 2 maybe 3 back. It’s just not going to work.
I’m actually glad we the fans can’t go to games as I think it would have an even worse effect.
Leno now out for up to a year!! That’s crazy he has been imo one of our stand out players. I think he is quality.
Holding was a positive from Saturday thought he played very well considering he himself has been out injured for a very very long time.

So what next – I would like to see us play with a bit more youth, this season is a right off now we ain’t making CL I don’t care if get europa. Let’s blood medley, jules, give Pepe a decent run and let him discover his form, put aubs through the centre martinelli on the left, and i would love to see saka play in the 10 role.

I don’t think people are blaming Arteta yet… The team is not good enough but I think he is doing the best with what he has…. well he was certainly before Lockdown!
    My list of negatives:

I don’t like Aube on the left.
Both both strikers he chooses are not enough of a goal threat
Martinelli who has down the middle and scored and seems more of a threat than either but Arteta does not fancy him down the middle or on the left.
Saka has played 3 positions in the last three games and he is getting good minutes and has great potential but he has not signed a contract and might leave so we may be wasting our time.
Our midfield is not good enough quality wise and has no goals in it.
We have 8 centre halfs but don’t see a plan A with any of them I have watched a lot of Saliba and he is not going to be the immediate answer.
I really don’t see much positives apart from potential from some of the younger players but that will all go to waste if we cant give them a platform or time to perform.
