Great chance to virtually guarantee 2nd place taking pressure off Liverpool, Villa and Leicester games. Got a week off before Leeds game too so apart from Rashford we don’t really need to rest anybody. Would love to see Tuanzebe keep his place in the team but that’s not realistic
    Predicted XI:
    Henderson
    AWB, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw
    McT, Pogba
    Greenwood, Bruno, James
    Cavani

I’d put VDB instead of James and play Pogba out wide on the right, Fernandes more advanced, McTominay in front of the defence and VDB somewhere in between.

Hopefully, now that they’ve changed the colours of the seats, we won’t mess up at home anymore =P

Listening to Scholes and Hargreaves yesterday, while not specifically saying it they seemed to be describing 4-3-3 when discussing how to get Pogba and Bruno playing closer together

Imagine a midfield with Rice sitting in front of the defence and Pogba and Bruno further forward. One breaking the lines, running behind our striker, the other supplying him

Agreed. Above is my predicted XI. I’d love to see vdB start – either in central midfield alongside McT or as no. 10.
Would be great to see Tuanzebe start alongside Maguire also but that’s never gonna happen

the exact sort of game we have been fucking up for the last two seasons. playing a shit team at home, opportunity to get ourselves really well set…and we turn up and play like dog shit.

win today and i am not totally convinced we are out of the title race. highly unlikely i appreciate but would be good to put some pressure on those sports washed blue bastards and see if guardiola has one of his wobbles.

    Henderson back in goal 👍

McFred in midfield which is too defensive for a home game against Burnley. Hopefully McT pushes forward. Looks like right wing for the injured Rashford so not expecting too much from him today

Typical first half from us. Burnley working very hard off the ball. We need to move the ball quicker second half

All this European Superleague shit can fuck right off too. This site the NFL. The football pyramid and constant threat of failure if performances drop is what makes football appealing. Well done to Bayern Munich for not signing up to it
