    I don’t know why but I regard Liverpool as a strong competition for the league title. Klopp has been doing exceptionally well to reorganise the team, not the team is much better defensively and their offensive play is much more fluent.

    However they will rely much on Coutinho, Firmino and Sturridge and if they can bring in a quality striker in January as a cover, they may have a chance to win the league. Mind you disposing Chelsea 3-1 away definitely raises confidence, even though they’re in a bad run but demolishing Manchester City 4-1 away is just impressive and if they can earn the points against the bigger teams and be consistent against the weaker teams, they will finish strong. I just hope we can be more consistent and have our key players fit most of the time.

    8 points off of Leicester who top the PL but realistically will be more than happy to finish in the top 6 and just 7 points off of United means Liverpool are definitely a title contender and 7 points and more have been reeled in before at this stage of the season.

    Will Liverpool win the PL? Probably not but they are a lot stronger under Klopp than they were.

    I agree they rely on Coutinho but Firminho has only just joined and Sturridge has hardly played for over a year.

    just to upset some Swans – sorry but I think Ayew would be a clever signing now to replace Sturridge, I think Klopp needs to show him his place is under threat as he seems a little complacent to say the least. That wouls find out if he’s really injured!

    Off course they can. Will they win it? I doubt it.

    It would be more interesting if you ask can Arsenal win the league? I mean is Wenger still building Arsenal after almost 2 decades in Charge? Arsenal failure has reached a point of tedium. I wont be surprised if Liverpool takes your ‘4th place trophy’ at the end of the season

    Arsenal FC; genuinely appreciate the thread and kind sentiments.

    It’s not a secret on here with me in particular living life to the full after a win and aiming for optimism. However, in an analogy of Practical Driving, there are a few manoeuvres that need mastering convincingly before being ready to go for the test.

    Long way to go mate.

    They definitely can! They’re electric at times, which is more than can be said about certain ‘big boys’ ie, United/Chelsea. I feel they have more upside than 18 other teams in the prem and if they hit a run of consistency, they’ll be right in the battle. United are the side I most expect to slide out of the top 4…

    I genuinely like these posts and a breath of fresh air, so thankyou.

    “Day-to-day basis” so to speak, the wear and tear in falling out with your own people through disagreement, and from what unfolds, it can sometimes be of hard work;

    justfied in thoughts, and performances in Mignolet don’t help really.

    A positive person, but I think it’s probably time for a new Keeper at the very least installed.

    I must say it’s been a while since Liverpool looked that impressive but since Klopp steps in, he manages to bring the best out of the players. Now the defence are more solid and dynamic going forward and if they can keep their key players fit, they can challenge. Coutinho has so much potential, it’s just a shame that they’re short in ammunitions up front.

    We’d be lucky to jump one place in the table this week should we beat Swansea.

    The competitives is tough, but healthy indeed looking at it from a neutral’s point of view.

    Liverpool have no chance, a cup and 4th will be a great season, even 4th on its own will give Klopp something to build on. Or just winning the Europa League, 2 birds 1 cup. Sorry, I meant 2 birds 1 stone….
