As the title says, don’t like this format at all!October 3, 2015 at 5:46 pm #653548
I feel the same only 3 posts on the westham page no replies to any have to re register to be fair I’ll not use it as much as I did nothing worth reading I used and commented most days the change is not betterOctober 3, 2015 at 5:49 pm #653554
Shame, I don’t like this at all. I have registered (obviously) but I’m not sure it’s worth coming back too often. We’ll see. Why was it changed?October 3, 2015 at 5:51 pm #653560
Patience lads. Early days still. I’m sure it will get better…October 5, 2015 at 7:08 pm #656872
This is a very poor substitute “yoursay” when compared to what you had. This is like committing commercial suicide. The previous site had everything going for it with a vibrant “yoursay” section because it was easy to access and well presented. This is quite the opposite and the poor response from fans confirms this. Sorry lads but your defence is leaking and you need to do something quick before you are relegated into oblivion. Oh and sack the guy who said lets change a winning team, cos he don’t know what he is talking about.October 5, 2015 at 7:53 pm #656941
On a daily basis there were posts on the westham page from the usual suspects why didn’t you just keep it the same but just add the instant messages I feel you will have lost a lot of usual posters and other than that the site doesn’t really give you anything else that news now doesn’t imoOctober 6, 2015 at 3:33 pm #657970
I have to be honest Ed, this new your say is terrible compared to the old version. It make me wonder who comes up with these ideas and think they’re good!!. You had a winning formula, that was easy to access, pleasing on the eye and you changed it for what? I honestly don’t know if I will continue to contribute or look elsewhere to post with my fellow hammers.October 6, 2015 at 3:40 pm #657976
I agree the other yoursay was so simple to use. Didn’t see any warning it was going to change so all the regulars could carry on as normal. lets hope they all come on here or it wont be worth login in any more.October 6, 2015 at 10:48 pm #658369
At last we can all agree on something….change it back or your site will be gone within a year due to nobody visiting it anymore…change for the worse IMO and most others by the look of it.October 7, 2015 at 5:41 am #658414

I don’t like this at all but I will bear with it, I do miss the banter with the boys. (Eupen)October 7, 2015 at 10:32 am #658621
I have never posted before but this must be the worst change in the history of the internet ;
what on earth were you thinking?
Change it back as this is just plain hopeless!
Horrible to use and worse to try to read ones way throughOctober 8, 2015 at 4:26 pm #660466
The new site is utter crap. It only has premiership info and the Yoursay isn’t user friendly and rubbish. The site is like they actually rolled back to an old site design from 10 years ago…….GUYS WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?
…..This is not an improvement!
You’ve taken an overall great site and made it completely pointless; I don’t see me coming back to this site and will probably stop using it. It’s a shame as I’ve used this for over 10 years!

We won’t be bringing back the old format, but we will be making improvements to the new one in time, for example, adding the links to the main West Ham page to take you straight to the West Ham forum.
The problem is that, due to circumstances beyond our control, we were without any sort of forum for a month. Even if we had relaunched the exact same page, I’ve got no doubt we’d have suffered this same slow period before all the old users realised it was back.
Assuming all of the old posters do eventually find their way back, combined with the small improvements we’ll be making, we’re confident you’ll eventually recognise the improvement. It’s easy to be nostalgic, but let’s not forget there was no instant posting and no posts whatsoever between 6pm and 8am on the old site. So it’s not all bad!October 8, 2015 at 5:33 pm #660580
Are you not reading all the negative comments about your site? I don’t bother coming back unless I have had a reply to my original post, as I receive an email telling me I have had one. Here are some questions, please feel free to answer them!
1. Why on earth did anybody think this change was any good?
2. Why did you not try to run it alongside the original site to gauge customer opinion?
3. What is your new site traffic compared with the old one, (please answer honestly)?
4. Why was it changed?
5. How long before your advertisers realise that this new site is not getting the traffic?
All I read are negatives, on here & on your Facebook page, well I don’t now as I don’t bother coming on here, which is a great shame as the other site I visited 2 or 3 times a day.
One other thing, you say your assuming the old users will find their way back, well I was one, Katmad was another, I’m now gone, & I don’t see Katmad posting on here that much now, the writing is on the wall for Teamtalk in my opinion!

First of all, the e-mail notification is a positive, surely?
Hand on heart, we’ve had more positive feedback than negative about the new forums. Lots of people are much happier with the instant posting, plus the fact that they can ignore posts they’re not interested in, can use the site on a mobile, can add pictures/videos into posts etc. We certainly believe the new forums are an improvement on the old ones.
Change to any website is always met with negativity, and we realise it will take some people time to get used to the new look and that some won’t return at all. That’s a shame, but the delay in posting, the ease at which trolls could ruin pages, multiple accounts, manipulating of thumbs/up down, the lack of usability on a mobile etc meant it was time to change the old look. It couldn’t stay the same forever.
I can’t force you to like the new format, but I do hope that you’ll give it a chance. No, we can’t say for certain that all the old posters will return, but if they do there’s no reason why you can’t enjoy the WHU page even more than you used to.
There’s not much more I can say on this I’m afraid; I’m already posting this outside of working hours.October 9, 2015 at 9:56 am #661276
With all due respect Mark, look at how many people are bothering to post on the pages overall. You seriously believe it is more positive than negative.October 9, 2015 at 10:58 am #661432
Sorry to say but I have to agree with the other posts on this and think you are deluded if you think that there is more positive feedback than negative; just look at the lack of people on here……it says it all……it isn’t “Yoursay” it should be “No-say”.
But is isn’t just yoursay, it is the whole site…I am all for change but only for the better and this has been badly executed throughout.

The response from Teamtalk to all the criticism is just plain pathetic so for me its goodbye TeamtalkOctober 14, 2015 at 11:40 am #667057
Ref your comment
“Assuming all of the old posters do eventually find their way back, combined with the small improvements we’ll be making, we’re confident you’ll eventually recognise the improvement. Well, I still don’t see loads of people signing up and there are no new posts…..This is a disaster!
Have you mailed all the old members to tell them that the new site is operational?
DavidOctober 15, 2015 at 9:25 am #667885
Just to prove a point how unpopular this site is now, go to the your say tab, click on it, you will see all the teams come up for the Prem & championship, in brackets you will see the amount of posts for each club, some clubs in the Prem have zero, most in the Championship have zero, the top four clubs have more which is obvious because of the glory hunting element, which Teamtalk only think matter, which is plain to see, because if you go to their equally poorly visited Facebook page, what is the header picture of? Yep you got it, Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City, Liverpool players/managers & for some reason Gareth Bale. THERE ARE OTHER TEAMS IN THE PREMIERSHIP FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!
More evidence, look to the right of this page, all cobblers about the above mentioned clubs!
