    United 1 Cardiff 4

Couldn’t care less. Just happy as long as I don’t see any French or Spanish players in the team.

Worst thing that could have happened was that good run I’m afraid. The hysterical reaction of the fans gave Ed the opportunity to appoint him early, which was a mistake of monumental and amateurish proportions. It meant that not only did we miss out on Pochettino, but we’re also stuck with a man who looks out of his depth. Hope it turns out well for him obviously, but I don’t hold out much hope. As for the Cardiff result, does anyone really give a fuck?

Depends on who is playing…if he starts with Chong, Mason and one of Gomes or Garner then I’m def watching if its same old same old then there’s something more exciting City and Liverpool

@jm1502 – Before when the forum debated managerial options, fans like myself wanted a young tracksuit manager (preferably old boy) who would grown into the job and make his managerial name at OT albeit it would mean mistakes as he learned the tradecraft and years in the doldrums. Other agued a pedigree manager was needed. well we had LvG and JM and the pedigrees dont come much better than those two.

Look on the bright side, if it goes pear shaped for Ole then you get to say I told you so, and for those of us wanting a Ole type we get to learn the error in our thinking.

Personally I dont think it will turn out like that. Ole will have more tolerance from the fans, less pressure on expectations and need only make top 4. IF his signings show promise then he will get the time, if they turn out to be lemons like LvG & JM signings then clearly the Norwegian Wood not be a hit.

Just realised Ole will probably field youngsters and it will be a hodge-podge of a team. And Cardiff may want to raise their game for the fans. I’m going to change my prediction to …..

    1-1 score draw

Mac – That’s lovely that you’d get to “learn the error in your thinking”. Beautiful way of putting it. I’m assuming this wouldn’t then be allowed to be a stick with which to beat you for the next ten years?

I don’t give a fuck whether it’s a young tracksuit manager, ex player or a Van Gaal (although I did say he was the past when we appointed him) or Mourinho type. I just want it to be successful. I just think Pochettino may finally have been the man.

Greenwood looking very sharp. I feel like we made the biggest cock up in English football, with ole being a legend and the transformation the team made when he took over. We may have reacted too quick, another thing that annoys me is young when he going to retire.
