I dont think we will see much happening tbh it might be someone one loan as a last resort. Unless we trigger some RC i dont see us getting any top target that we were after. Edu aint capable of that

No Muffler I don’t think we will see much happening either. And whatever does happen he will be 2nd or 3rd choice because we spent all window chasing someone we were never going to get

I fail to understand what the players can learn from Wilshere and why he is in Dubai. Surely one of the younger players should have gone instead? Fatmop, over the years fans have said keep so and so as “they’re good in the dressing room” i.e. Eboue, Xhaka and now Wilshere. If a kid wants to follow Jack and smoke, drink, snort and generally behave like an overpaid lout, he’s the man. As for learning how to play, they see enough of that at London Colney, don’t they and anyway, what are our myriad of trainers doing during training? I’m with stev, there is no reason for him to be there as he’ll never play for us again…… I assume.
On another note, I see Saliba is being tracked by Real Madrid and Mavroponos by Bayern- what can they see that Arteta can’t?!

Wilshere is probably only there just in case we get squat and then he can sign for 6 months.

He fits the quality that Edu is able to sign

True Muffler, but I hope not. If we believe some press reports, Edu had his knuckles rapped over the proposed Arthur move, so if he does sfa again, he’s in trouble.

Arthur is a dead deal why would Juve accept a 6month deal now when Edu only managed to broker a 18 month deal that the board said no to. Yes they have replacement inbound in Sakaria but since Spurs are close to Bentancour and Kulesevski I doubt they are in the need to move him. Which would be the only thing that could help poor Edu

Ornstein also reported that Auba is close to Barca on 6 month loan in case they can move Dembele. Now If true that means since Edu is a muppet the only replacement would be a loan or they trigger someones RC in Spain.

The whole thing is a shambles. No one seems to have a clue what they’re doing. There was the Vlahovic farce, the old Wenger we tried delaying tactic trick. I don’t think Arthur was ever on. Abameyang may or may not be going to Barca, Isak was seen in Selfridges, is that relevant. Xhaka to Roma is back on. I doubt it Arteta overruled Edu on that one already. He also overruled Edu on Emerson Royal. This entire window has been a smokescreen, I don’t think there was any intention of buying anyone. So Arteta flew to America to see Stan to discuss what? Will we have enough players to fill squad numbers come Tuesday morning? Does anyone know

We’re up shit creek without a paddle. If we finish below 6th as I have suggested before, both Arteta and Edu have to be kicked out,

All of this we were chasing him and then him and we failed here and there is all just Rumour. I cant see why the club is getting hammered for things people don’t actually know have happened. No one knows 100% our targets, No one knows 100% if we have made bids. For me the mistake is letting players go without an alternative unless you think we have one in the stiffs. I know some of this is beyond our control but we should not let players go unless we have signed a replacement or the player being released has no chance of playing even if we have injuries. I know we only have 17 games left and we can afford to be a bit light on the squad but we are still playing for top 4/6 so we do have something to play for and to me its a risk running such a light squad and the fact Areteta says we are trying, also makes me think they do know this, even though some of this was caused by Arteta letting players go when he did not need to. We still have a few hours to go but if this is it then its a massive risk.

True Steve but credible sources has stated that we were after Vlahovic and Arthur apart that nothing of substance.

What we do know is that Auba is in Barcelona to complete his loan move.

Incoming i have no clue of but since we all know Edu there is maybe a RC to trigger somewhere because that is the only way he can get a target they want this late.

My guess though is the board do not want to put money in bad deals which is what Edu does. And that they are trimming the squad for the summer and gambling on that the ones left can make it.

If a striker comes in it most likely that we loan Morata than buying someone we wanted.

Muff as credible as they are we really don’t know and I am not saying that its not true we just don’t know and we don’t know what our thinking is or was around these decisions.
If that’s the boards decision then I would agree as putting money into potentially bad deals is madness and just going outside the long term plan is just reckless. As I keep saying my issue is letting players go when we are already short, its a gamble to say the least. On top of everything, We will need a forward if we let Auba go but if we cant replace him then we should not let him go, I dont care what he has done.

Sure nothing is 100 % except for the end result.

Im in agreement we should not spend If we cant get the players we want.

Im all for letting Auba go no problem with that but to rely on Laca and Nketia for 17 games thats not a gamble thats stupid.

But hey at least Dubai now looks like a blast from the past as Arsenal tweeted about Almunias presence. 🤣

Dereliction of duty by all concerned. Since when have we ever let anyone go whilst having a replacement coming in? These jerks are all pathetic- in any other business, they’d not last five minutes.

This window doesn’t look promising at all. Hope I’m wrong. Wish we would go in for Bissouma. Apparently he has his heart set on Utd. Would provide very good protection to the back four and be huge upgrade on Xhaka.

Going in for Bissouma is not a good idea as he’s currently on bail for sexual assault. Spending £50m on someone who may well be in jail for a period of time is never advisable
