N1xer, yes he is. My only hope is that this summer we sign a proper DM who can adequately step up, allowing Casemiro’s game time to be better managed

We owe one of the big teams an absolute thrashing: let’s make it today: Chelsea are there for the taking: we could hit them for 6+ if we put our mind to it.

Good season. CL football and a trophy. Just wish to fuck we didn’t have this final coming up but fuck it. Now time to get the club sold and a good summer window sorted.

Not quite sure how you analyse that game from either sides perspective, suffice to say I don’t think anyone other than Casemiro was better than 6/10, and there were quite a few more who were mo better than 4/10, or even worse.
In particular, it’s actually quite shocking to watch Eriksen these last few weeks since he came back from injury, he’s 100% finished at the top level, and should only be a sporadic starter and bench warmer at most from now on, and I’m being very generous in saying that.

Job done as there were some jitters with the possibility of throwing our CL qualification to the scum.

This squad needs serious bolstering – a 62 game season averaging a game every 3 days with 14 decent players was always going to be a stretch.

Maguire, Martial, McTominay, Bailly, Tuanzebe out and a Phil Jones testimonial to celebrate an illustrious career at United.

Kane/Osimhen in plus Caicedo and a proper ball playing GK to replace Henderson and pressure De Gea. Wouldn’t mind taking a punt on the gambling addict Toney or Lautaro Martinez either.

Either way, well done Ten Hag for fixing a hot mess.

Very strange game indeed. Some very good moments for us but on the whole below par

The vote of our team have been running on fumes for months now. The likes of Shaw, Varane, Casemiro, Eriksen, Bruno and Rashford desperately need (and in fairness probably deserve) a full month off to recharge both mentally and physically

Hopefully CL football next season increases our summer transfer budget allowing us to bring in 3 or 4 top quality players so the team can be properly rotated without a big drop off in performance

@hatters – How’s it going mate?, agree it’s got to be regarded as a successful first season for Ten Hag, especially considering the Ronaldo situation he had to deal with, and having no decent centre forward to select for an entire season. That said, if we don’t put some serious investment and quality into the first team and the squad as a whole it will be back to finishing in the Europa League spots again next season because it’s just not feasible to do otherwise again given the lack of goals throughout the team, the diabolical away record and this uncanny ‘ability’ to collapse and concede goals in bunches several times every season.
We definitely need to get rid of a few more than the guys you’ve mentioned and we need to strengthen both RB and CB as well as the obvious midfield and striker positions, but all that pales into insignificance when compared to what’s going on with the takeover and the way those poisonous, inbred cunts are pimping our club around in attempt to squeeze every last penny out of the deal without a single care for the future well being of Manchester United. The day finally do leave will be the biggest trophy we could ever win, simple as that.

@blacky. All good mate, thanks. I think you’ve set it all out right there. The away form is unacceptable end of. The future of the club is completely hinged on how quickly we can the sale done and get the new owners feet under the table. As it stands we’ve had the rub of the green with Liverpool and Chelsea having strange seasons while Newcastle will almost certainly finally get the chequebook out this summer.

So unless we get our house in order we could easily see ourselves finishing in the Europa League spots next season.
