Can we play some of our young lads?
Or is Garnacho being minded until after the FA Youth Cup final (May 11th at OT)?

Mejbri, Fernandez and Garnacho being talked up here by SamL at the MEN.
Could Fernandez do any worse than Telles?

I cannot see them starting this one, but hopefully in the last few weeks of the season they will all get a chance.

    3-1 Chelsea

I actually wouldn’t be surprised if Ragnick is trying to isolate the youngsters from the toxic first team players from a matchday perspective as we just look devoid of any morale or desire to win any matches from now until the end of the season, and he hopes the young players can come in next season with a fresh mindset whilst he allows the trash to see out the season now that we have nothing to play for.

While I accept that to a degree, footballers are simple creatures by their very nature – if I keep getting selected, I must be doing something right and/or if there is a problem with the team, the problem isn’t me.

That was very much the prevailing psychology in Harry Maguires interview pre Liverpool, before he shit the bed again.

Some of our worst performers of late are Telles, Bruno and Elanga – they’ve been repeatedly very poor. What message is it sending if they keep getting selected game after game? Its wrong on any number of levels. Allowing the offending players think its ok, not dropping them sends a message to others that standards are low here and sub standard is tolerated, disrespecting teammates by not promoting players for their chance/opportunity, disrespecting fans paying hard earned cash………

@moral – Agrred mate, but I just think that Ragnick (and the squad) have accepted that this season is now a total disaster where everyone from top to bottom has been poor and no amount of dropping players is going to fix the team now: I just think he’s content to let the trash play out the rest of this season and they take the full brunt of the shit for it (which they deserve) and then cull as much of the trash as he and ETH can in mid-season and start afresh (and that’s when I think we’ll see more of Mejbri, Garnacho and Fernandez).

    Cheers

I think part of the problem is that footballers are simple creatures, many don’t think playing for RR is that important as he’ll be ‘gone’ at the end of the season. However, he won’t be ‘gone’, he’ll be in the ear of ETH and everyone who’s switched off is going to get pilloried by RR when ETH asks him who’s who.

That’s a bold prediction mufc. I can’t see anything other than another thoroughly embarrassing performance where we lose by 2 or 3 goals.
Even to this shit Chelsea team! 😂😉🖕👀

What the idea of two keepers on the bench, is RR thinking of putting two in goal at some point?! Surely they could have added another young outfield player

Fuck me, we’d be better off playing a couple of wheelie bins down that left hand side instead of Telles and Gashford, utter dogshit the pair of them.
