Finally, someone has whispered Frank’s ears that Christensen is not good enough to be our CB at this level. I hope someone also whispers to him that Jorginho is not also good enough to be our holding midfielder at this moment. I prefer Kovacic to be sitting there and supported by two attack-minded players. one way to play is to move Pulisic to the no 10 positions and draft Hodson Odoi in on the wing. if we are to be playing with Alonso I would move Willian to the left to assist him defensively. or move Azpi to the left-back and bring on Reece James at right back.

There is no way we should be sitting and looking to defend against Liverpool, simply because we are not good at that. so let us do what we good at. i would go for 4-2-3-1, Reece – Rudiger – Zouma – Azpi, Kovacic-Barkley, Odoi – Pulisic – Willian, and Giroud up top.

Just to share. I really think this article makes a lot of sense: https://theprideoflondon.com/2020/07/15/chelsea-players-faced-test-norwich-failed/

nine, yep. Wolves are officially out of top 4 as the maximum they would get is 62 points. And we have 63 points :). Like Man Utd’s last match (v. Southampton), Wolves condeded a goal in the last minute. Never really considered Wolves as a top 4 contender though after they dropped points last week. But it’s good for us as we’ll face them in our last match. Now it’s mathematically between us, Leicester and Man Utd !!

We need to fasten our seatbelt. It’s gonna be a bumpy ride until the end for the top 4 race I think. I was hoping Leicester would drop points against the mighty Sheffield United who beat us previously. They did not; they won 2-0 and the gap is now 1 point again.

I don’t expect Palace to beat Man Utd, that will start in 15 min. So let’s see but expect a tough end of season for us.

Not what we needed but a good win for Leicester.

Ditto United this could be painful.

We could do with a helping hand from Spurs on Sunday it’s almost certainly 4 from 5 now.

Unfortunate thing is we MUST get at least a point from Liverpool because if United and Leicester win their next league matches all they will need on the last day is a draw each and they are playing each other. Even then we would have to beat Wolves at home which could be a tall order. Not looking so good now.
