May 13, 2019 at 3:02 pm #1751542I did not follow Bundesliga but I don’t think personnally that Pulisic is equal with Hazard. But yes, it was a good acquisition as we know that Hazard is leaving. I hope he will provide the creativity that we crave as Pedro and Willian cannot fulfill that. Look at both yesterday against Leicester: cr*p. Pulisic and CHO: hope that they will be mouthwatering and provde us the attack we need for next season
May 13, 2019 at 8:59 pm #1751667The team needs to be freshened up with young players like Pulsic, Abraham, HDO, RLC, Mason, Reece, Tomori, vwe need a new dawn and get rid of the grandads who are continually erratic, this is the main issue that worries me about Sarri, foreign coaches have a preference for the oldies even when they not performing.
May 13, 2019 at 10:43 pm #1751672Pulisic in his interview was asked: “Who are you looking forward to playing with?”
He didn’t mention Hazard.
May 14, 2019 at 9:05 am #1751722“He didn’t mention Hazard.”
Which confirms what we all thought bort.
May 14, 2019 at 11:03 am #1751773Why are we talking about hazard on the Pulisic thread, stop crying into your pillows and welcome the next winger to grace the bridge..
direct, powerful, determined, team player.
Welcome to the bridge mr Pulisic, you’re going to be part of a wonderful attacking side.
May 14, 2019 at 11:36 am #1751797Because not mentioning Hazard in his interview re the players Pulisic was looking forward to playing with when Hazard is our best player was pretty telling Roman.
But yes “Welcome to the bridge mr Pulisic, you’re going to be part of a wonderful attacking side.” We hope.😊
May 14, 2019 at 12:50 pm #17518349’s… the guy is really a good player and we’re all sobbing over the loss of hazard that hasn’t happened yet…
He’s off and the sooner it’s announced the sooner we can all move on and stop crying over the spilt milk… that’s one of your favourite expressions.
Fantastic signing imo… the future is bright and as others on here have said, time to get rid of the dead wood
May 14, 2019 at 1:34 pm #1751851Roman, no one is crying over spilt Milk we all know it’s going to happen now and Pulisic though a completely different player does look a very good signing.
I doubt Hazard leaving will be officially announced until after the EL Final it would take the focus off the Final and the Spanish transfer window doesn’t open until the 1st June anyway.
“As others on here have said, time to get rid of the dead wood” I don’t think anyone on here bar you maybe would classify Hazard as deadwood.
He will be a real miss imo and in a lot of other people’s opinions too.
Real miss see what I did there!😊
May 14, 2019 at 2:02 pm #1751866Welcome to Pulisic and his interview is interesting but I like how he describes himself as a team player who gives everything and wants to bring his attacking style to the team to win games
OK – typical hype for a new player but lets hope he lives up to those standards. Personally, I see no point in even trying to make comparisons with Hazard as Pulisic is a player in his own right and should be allowed to make his own progress and contribute to the team and not be in the shadow of anyone else
I fully expect Chelsea to go and buy a couple of players and at the same time integrate maybe 2 or 3 of the loan players. Think based on the reports that Reece James, Tomori, Tammy, Mount and Zouma are the most likely candidates for me but only time and Sarri will tell. KTBFFH
May 14, 2019 at 2:36 pm #1751881I’ve resigned myself to Hazard going just hope his exit doesn’t drag on all summer with the usual brinkmanship of Real reluctant to cough up and we holding out!.Kovacic can follow Hazard to Real Madrid too.We need a good clean-out but we haven’t started on the right foot giving Luiz anothet 2 years.Sarri will persist with Sarri-ball which means Kante not restored to his best position. Not looking forward to Morata coming back and I bet Sarri will persevere with Higuain and Giroud. Not setting my sights too high if I’m honest
May 14, 2019 at 8:14 pm #1751953Blimey…seasons not even over and we already worrying about next season and its possible shortcomings. Welcome to CFC Mr Pulisic. I hope you settle in quickly and get given the opportunity to showcase your skills. A bit unfair to compare him to Hazard as he’s 8 years Edens junior. Could be an argument that he’s better than Hazard was eight years ago. Pulisic has definitely delivered in a more competitive league up to this point.
May 14, 2019 at 11:44 pm #1751974Pulisic, whilst raw and still young is a similar type of player to Hazard. if he settles well at Stamford Bridge, he will be an exciting player to watch. no player is perfect when they join a club. and more so when they are young. when Hazard joined us. he was a good player but not a complete player that he is today. so hopefully Pulisic could follow that route. also if we somehow can convince CHO to pen a new contract, that is even more important than keeping Hazard. with him and Pullisic on both flanks, plus hopefully, Abraham if not Icardi if our transfer ban is frozen out. that will be the only player I would add to the team. or Ben Chilwell of Leicester needs a serious consideration IMO. bring back Reece James and give him a substantial game to ho help his development. and maybe buy one mobile right back to compliment him.
