Done early as therapy.

Ever since Big Sam’s Crystal Palace rolled into Anfield 6 years ago and predictably came away with all three points courtesy of predictable scorer, Benteke, we did 5 straight league doubles over them until…..this season with that dogshit draw at Anfield back in August not helped, of course, with Darwin seeing red.
–
I like what Viera (campest walk of any manager) is doing at Palace with the squad and resources they have. No-one could do better but…
–
They haven’t won this year. Since their 2-0 win at Bournemouth on NYE they’ve drawn 4 and lost 4 in all comps. They’re there for the taking right? Right! (said without eye contact).
–
F**k knows who will start this after last night…
–
Alisson, Trent, Matip, VVD, Robbo, Fabinho, Bajetic, Keita, Gapko, Nunez and Mo is my guess. What would I like to see?
–
Alisson, Milner, Matip, VVD, Tsimikas, Fabinho, Bajetic, Gapko, Keita, Mo and Nunez in a 4231 (shock!). Why the hell not. Tell the lads that it’s gonna work because you’re gonna make it work and go out and ‘blow the bloody doors off!’

Palace will score, most teams do, but we’ll win this 3-1. We have too. It’s ALL we have left.February 22, 2023 at 2:57 pm #2180475We can’t lose! … but we’re gonna try our best to.
February 22, 2023 at 8:19 pm #2180554Be a few changes from last night in anyway. Difficult to be positive after last nights shambles
February 22, 2023 at 10:31 pm #2180564Isn’t it what. Season is over.
We have to use the rest to blood in the best prospects, I think.February 23, 2023 at 3:12 am #2180578They keep finding new lows this season. Just when you think it can’t get any worse than Brighton, we lose to them again and get thumped by Wolves. When you think it can’t get worse than that, the get hammered at home in the CL. I don’t know what else it’s going to take for a few of these morons to be thrown out of the team and into the stands. When the general reaction to an injury that 1 of your CBs has sustained is “thank goodness”, that should be enough of an indication of how shit he is. Elliott featuring in pretty much every game has to be 1 of the biggest jokes this season. Why? Because Bajcetic has barely played and we’re talking about how good his impact is. Why is Milner still coming on in games? Which top club anywhere would even take him as a squad player? If the other options are so bad, what are they still doing there? Fuck. Useless bunch of…
Anyway, now that the 433 has been exposed yet again and that we have some options, the best option is to go back to the 442. Fabinho and Henderson should be relegated back to the bench and subsequently on to the transfer list. If Jones doesn’t get some sort of run now, when is it going to happen? Rubbish. Absolute rubbish, the lot of them. Fuck.
Alisson
TAA Matip VVD Tsimikas
Salah Bajcetic Jones Gakpo
Darwin JotaFebruary 23, 2023 at 8:17 am #2180594Two wins against Crystal Palace and then Wolves, and Liverpool will be level with fifth placed Newcastle ahead of the Magpies’ next league match away at Man City.
That needs to be the focus right now.
Konate and Thiago arnt far off coming back.
We may then see Diaz in April to help that final push.
We’ve played all the teams above us away now.
Some have still to come to Anfield and there will be some very difficult games left to play, particularly at the start of April.Top4 is still achievable.
February 23, 2023 at 4:28 pm #2180764Right, back to the PL, and a tough away fixture, so our mentality has to be spot on, we go here to win, nothing else, and block out all thoughts of negativity.

Time to shake up the midfield slightly? I’d bring Keïta in for Fabinho, and keep Henderson for his pressing, but Klopp most likely will not make any changes. Plus, I’d keep Gakpo at No. 9 as he’s got momentum.
–
Alisson
Trent Van Dijk Matip Robbo
Henderson Bajcetic Keïta
Salah Gakpo NuñezFebruary 23, 2023 at 6:31 pm #2180794Konate trained today. Should be ready next week.
February 24, 2023 at 12:22 pm #2181014Have to say the Madrid game was a real kick in the nuts. I really thought we could turn things around but we just gave up. We fell apart so rapidly and I really think it’s all going to end in tears for jurgen. Too much crap happening in the bs jfriubd. We are a mess of the pitch and on the pitch
The day Klopp goes, we are fucked and the really shit days be back
February 24, 2023 at 5:26 pm #2181084Sean.. a little perspective, this is team in transition. The era of our great team has ended and its the beginning, hopefully, of another great team. For the first time in 5 years our famed front 3 is no longer playing together. We practically have a new attack. The midfield is ageing and past their best. We get a couple of new signings nxt season and we’ll be back.
February 24, 2023 at 7:22 pm #2181099Ah I know mate. Tuesday was just a proper kick in the bollix and it’s been a horrendous season
February 24, 2023 at 10:15 pm #2181111Good draw for us tonight. Fulham just four points ahead now in 6th but have played 3 games more. SIMPLY HAVE TO GET 3 POINTS TOMORROW.
February 25, 2023 at 2:26 pm #2181246Sorry, too many 1’s on my posted kick off time. Don’t think 11.45pm would be too popular.
February 25, 2023 at 4:31 pm #2181274Arthur played the full game for the u21s today.
February 25, 2023 at 4:58 pm #2181284I’ve no doubt zaha be after his injury tonight
February 25, 2023 at 5:00 pm #2181285I thought it was already more or less confirmed he’d be back.
Eze dangerous too.February 25, 2023 at 5:25 pm #2181294More importantly, Ben Doak registered 5 goal contributions in that game. Too bad he won’t get a chance because we need Milner to play or something.
February 25, 2023 at 5:30 pm #2181296I’d say Gakpo, Nunez, Jota, Salah might just be ahead of him there.
February 25, 2023 at 5:52 pm #2181306Expecting a few changes today. I’m going for a couple in defence, one change in mid and maybe Jota and Bobby to start up front.
February 25, 2023 at 5:58 pm #2181308I suspect Matip will come back in.
I think Hendo has started last 3 games so probably him to step out.
Fabinho still hasn’t really impressed these last 3 games but I can see him keeping his place.
I’d keep Bajetic starting
So maybe a midfield of Bajetic, Fabinho, Kieta
Perhaps a start for Firmino but wouldn’t at all be surprised to see same front 3 start. -
