@happy – Please enlighten us as to how many players became top players and first team regulars after we last won the FA Youth Cup way back in 2011?
I wouldn’t hold my breath about them all getting into the first team mainly because the step up in physicality in the PL is huge. It’s harder than most Leagues to acclimatise to. I expect ETH will look to bring up as many of the kids as he can but it’ll be drip fed, not a flood I’d say
I’m not saying they’re all going to become first team stars you lunatic, but “the future doesn’t look bright” is a bit fuckin gloomy when I’m having my morning coffee!!
I’m just being realistic, there is potential there for a few to make the first team but realistically if 3 of that 11 make it at Man Utd that’s a fantastic return
@happy – But based on last night’s performance he was absolutely right to say so. They were fucking hopeless, and didn’t deserve to win the game in my humble opinion. That’s not to say that 3 or 4 won’t make it, but history tells us that most of these kids will either end up in the lower leagues or out of the game completely. There’s no getting away from that.

FYI It actually wasn’t a lob of any description, he just whacked it into the empty net from 40 yards with Ederson way out of position. Pity he’s hardly done a thing right ever since, fucking awful player who typifies just how low our standards have fallen.
