I thought that this might be a banana skin for us and that we might not have recovered mentally from the Leeds loss. Wrong! I’ve just watched the brief highlights on Sky Sports on the net and we could have had more. At least the Metro is up and running (could have had another) and Pereira and Diang are getting the range but what was Sawyers doing in their box? He’s supposed to be the defensive playmaker but he showed that he still knows how to score. Our defensive frailties reared their heads again and we let in avaoidable goals but we’re back on top.

Uncle…what should not be lost in what’s happening is the Bilic-effect. It can work both ways, but when he’s fired up and the troops are in-sync with his message, which seems to be the case after 11 games, he can be very effective.

I confess to having been a skeptic, as, if things don’t don’t go SB’s way, he has a track record of blowing up. But he’s changed so much in such a short time that I just hope that management back him, in January, to kick-on and build a team that can hold their own at the top level.

totaly agree derwntd , so love watching the baggies even on the computer , but what a change ,hes using our youngsters ,none of the others gave our academy kids a chance ,some cameos but nothing like slaven has. its a joy to watch and listen to our games. hopefully a couple of signings id still like to see gayle back in january , but hey look at leko ,edwards field our loanees are doing incredibly well,we have a bright future and harper cant get into the team and hegazi hopefully is back after the int break along with barry . we could be back in premier next year ,this is a very open division this year.
